Winter Wonderland

Figure that most of you, who have never made it down to south SoCal, where the Horse liveth...have no idea that just about an hour+ away, is some cool spot to go...up in the mountains...we have taken many a guest there, during their stay here...Julian...home of the Julian Pies...known primarily for the apple ones...or, Mom's, which is just as good and tasty...well, the town (city?) is about at 3,000 ft...and I tell ya they get snow each and every year...hard to fathom for youse from the PNW...true dat...yesterday, was one of those days...pictured here...it's just a step back in time...really fun jaunt...a Winter Wonderland!...and, really, anytime...a wondrous place to travel...

Football news...OMG, the passing of one of my fav coaches...Mike Leach, 61 only...such wit that it made the day brighter...kinda got to follow him at his stint at Wash St...his final stop was in Mississippi St...so sad...heart attack...and the other, I told you about Navy...word out was he got fired...after 15 seasons...loyal to the max, and was a winner with the high restrictions that any service academy puts on football coaches...he was shocked...somebody will get a plum...booooo Navy...

More football NFL..the Arizona Cardinal...lost last nite to Bellychick's Pats...lost their QB Murray for the season...and get this...have lost 12 of their last 13 home games!...who does that?...so much for home field advantage...and how many days does that coach have left?...

Fentanyl...you know what that is?...an opioid...some mix it with other drugs for a high...which some are always seeking that...get this, some 50 to 100 times stronger than morphine!...a manufactured drug, often in M&M like pills...it has been filtering into the drug market in the states...a deadly addiction...be aware, kids...be aware of what your kids are taking, too...it is the latest craze and is...LETHAL!...

Hey, I watched the Manning Bros coverage of the Monday niter last eve...well, the 1st half...enuff...they were slightly funny...but, not worthy enough to skip the actual broadcast...give them a 'C'...also, the final episode of 'White Lotus'...OK, the author did a strange twist...I wanted more, and give it a 'B'...and I have never been a hard grader...

My FF team is now 6-8...after a huge win, featuring the Charger's duo of Herbert and Allen...gots to get to .500...gots to...

Over my head...US officials have announced nuclear fusion breakthrough...ah, what?...for the 1st time, the US Dept of Energy...USDE...US scientists produced more energy from fusion than laser...which moves the WORLD closer to zero carbon...clean, limitless energy...2 atoms fused together...geez, OK...just imagine what would go on in Fonny's head over this...
