The Acoustic Concert

Let's start with the site of the last nite concert in El Cajon...downtown El Cajon....east of San Diego...where I play golf, well, not downtown EC, but that away...roughly 30 minutes east of our condo... where we have never been before...it is really cool...shops and restaurants and bars and the venue, the Magnolia...yup, the place where Sara Evans and her troupe performed...

Marvelously, it was an ACOUSTICAL CONCERT...3 guitars, 2 backup sangers and Sara...one of the guitar players was one of her sons, and one of the backup sangers, was one of her daughters, Olivia...who is knocking on the door of fame herself...releasing an album next week...Sara was brilliant, on pitch, booming, and told tales of her upbringing...as she said, doing a concert like this, she can hear herself better...I will say that many performers need the band, to drown them out...ha ha...not Sara...

Olivia....am thinking this is the new name of peops...seems to be around more...the gal on DWTS...I can think of just a few back when...Olivia Newton John...Olivia de Haviland...hmmm, at a loss past that...well, we had our 1st cat named Olivia...'Livvy'...she was sleek and extremely lady like...and we had another cat, Shazam (Shazzy), who was not...a he and a terror, most of the time...he would leave us presents all over the house...sort of like an Easter egg hunt...sorta...I digress...

We traveled via Lyft...on the way back, we were passengers of a car, that a sailor was at the helm...he actually lives on a ship...in a 3 bunk high quarters...and drives the Lyft as a 2nd way of making cash...as he said, 'you know I am on a fixed income in the Navy'...yes sir, I know that schtick really well, being a teacher...ah, was...

I left the Packer/Cardinal game alone, due to the Covid knockout of 3 wide receivers of Green Bay AND their defensive coordinator...sure enough, the Pack still has Aaron Rogers...and they beat Arizona from the unbeaten ranks...go figure...do not...never ever..bet the NFL...

The Padres were allowed to interview the manager of the Oakland A's...Bob Melvin...then they signed him on for 3 years...stole him...funny thang, as in all of the publications, his name never came up...not once...is it a good hire?...I have NO IDEA...at least he has experience...now AJ, GET SOME PITCHERS!!!!...

Prez B is traveling to Europe, to make amends for donny....bring them back into our friendship mode...my guess is that he is being welcomed with open arms...everyone, but Putin, but he is not in Europe, right?...wait, is he?...Russia is part of Europe and Asia...hmmm...yes so, not Putin...but the rest?...you betcha...

Which reminds me, where is Sarah Palin?...
