Throwback Thursday


Next week we have the good fortune to see the one and only Boz...again...Boz Skaggs...the epitome of cool cat music...which brings me to what is paired with his soothing sound?...a fine bourbon whiskey (y)...now, of course, having a shot of Pappy would be fine...well, nuttin finer...but I have this publication that talks about others that are out there, that are simply divine...so the authors say...some made by Pappy's group...Buffalo Trace...another by the Beam Co...anyhoo, my promise to you, is that I will get names...names, I tell ya...and head on down to BevMo and see if any are there...BTW, they are not cheap...these are serendipity sippin shots of soul...something like that...

The other thang, is that Snooki is flying down for the festivities...he is a Boz nut...and dang it all, it is Marsha's (and yours truly) 47th anniversary!...FORTY-SEVENTH...who'd a thunk...I repeatedly tell him not to bring any big present...we will hit Eddie V's while he is here...some awesome crab cakes in the future...

We happened to be in Encinitas...and stopped for an early dindin at a fish place...pick your fish, the spice you want, and if you want it via the taco, sandwich, something else, or on a plate with veggies and rice...absolutely terrific!...Boss Lady had the red snapper...and yours truly had the fish and chips...it could not have been better...worth the drive, kids...

How about them Padres!...busted up their 5 game losing streak, with a 9-6 win over SF...man, we needed that...nine is a lot for us, as we have been at 0 or 1 way too often...we are truly in the win or else part of the season...

In a couple of days, the nation's Capitol will be besieged by the forevers...let's just hope the protection is strong this time...Congress will not be in session, as it will be a Saturday...hmmm, donny has yet to concede the election...how's that going for ya, dude?...

You see the clip of the umpire in Baltimore?...show his elephant ears...and throw out ALL the blokes who are about to bring on the tarp for the rain...they are waiting for his orders to bring it out...I hate umps...hate, I tell ya...it's not THEIR show, but they think it is...

Nicki Minaj...you know her?...she has done an unscientific report on the validity, er, reliability of the Covid 19 shot...that they caused her cousin's friend to get swollen testicles...sounds like he got the wrong vaccine...anyhoo, shouldn't affect her like that, the way I see the human body makeup...why is this getting so much air time?...as much as donny's...Dr Fauci even remarked on it...

Man, I lead with Throwback Thursday, and have not had one of them yet...here goes...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
