Saturday in the Park



Not sure if there is a more invigorating song for this day, than Chicago's 'Saturday In The Park'...as we bask in near perfect 80* weather down here in south SoCal...yup, took them noodles out and dipped ourselves in the pool...we have this policy (at the home), that you must reserve a lane for lap swimming...well, us noodlers have rights, too...so, the Horse is calling for a noodle lane...NOODLES NOODLES NOODLES!!!...

Your guy trump, has indeed seen the finish line...after all...ah, not conceding mind you...just seen the line...and as I thought out loud yesterday, he wants a big sendoff...'huger than ever before'...seeking a military one...as the staffers of the White House want him outta there...sayonara...see ya...don't let the door hit you in the arse...exit, stage right...listen dude, no lineup...no tears...just a TG you are gone...yes, he wants a good bye, the morning of the Biden/Harris inauguration...I say, get the rail...

IFF, a math term...that the Capitol Caper was orchestrated by trump...and what I am reading, his 3 blokes he pardoned...Stone, Flynn, and Bannon...and their idea was to overthrow, capture and worse...to the Congress people...ie, the VP Pence and Speaker Pelosi...how is that any different than what Charles Manson did?...just a query...

4 days to go, and I hope we are prepared for whatever is thrown at us...fingers crossed, maybe nuttin...

The NFL...let's do some prognosticating...now you know the deal, do NOT bet what I give you...I am just a foo that has a notion...here goes...Packers over the Rams...closer than you think...and, wouldn't be surprised if LA wins at the very end...Ravens over the Bills...like an upset...the Balt QB is the real deal and should be the diff...OK, if Buffalo does win, it will be a blow out...and they will win it all...what?...see what I told you?...I'm a foo that knows very little about these games...

Snooki threw in a song for the day...'Jumping Jack Flash' by the Stones...er, Rolling Bones...that are still doing their thang...'it's a gas gas gas...'...you know, it was released when they were called The Rolling Stones...and, there was a flick titled the same....starring Whoopi!


Soooo, the ongoing 'who cares' problem in Brooklyn...supposedly...reportedly...allegedly...maybe...the 3 that have been traded for...KD, Kyrie, and the Beard...are all in the lineup today....together...one ball...3 egos...no D...as the Nets host the Magic...you can bet on this...there will be countless pix and vids of the game...

Today, I begin my John Grisham book...'Camino Winds'...been sitting on it for a couple of months...now, in the mood...

BTW, I absolutely lurve the big band classic hits of the 30's and 40's...reminded me of it when I wrote 'In The Mood'...'Moonlight Serenade'...you know what I am saying?...

If Melania does not invite Jill for a tea party and a tour of the WH family quarters...it will break a 100 year tradition...what you think will or will not happen?...right...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
