Wishin' and Hopin'


So here we sit...for the next 21 days...Wishin' and Hopin' that things will change...it's all about the pandemic...fuggit about the fam for Christmas...well, I mean to be with them...as per usual, we must make the best of it...vid chat must suffice...of course, I am talking about the sphere that we are in...the SoCal 'Lock Down' area...it could be worse...

The grocery stores are open...as are the restaurants...that is, for carry out only...the bars are kaput...the parks are done...at least we can ride our bikes, and actually sit on the benches this time around...the last time, there was actually police tape all over...everywhere...where one could not go...how'd that work out?...

The eyes are all on the UK...as of today, they have started their mass inoculations of the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine...probably the headlines for most of my 23 sources this am...YES!...hopefully we are soon to follow suit...right?...

Yet, your guy trump...nary a word about it...the 'leader?'...OMG!!!...he is still trying to sabotage the Nation's vote...as I have queried often, 'has he no shame?'....ha ha, nope...the most selfish bastard that has ever taken hold of the White House...

The mask world we live in...everywhere but in the White House, I reckon...and at his revivals...

My pix for the NFL...good lord, even the Washington (skinless) football team won...over the now once defeated Steelers...here's the thing, I didn't even know it was on the tele...I was watching the other one...hey, they should try this...cuz, there are no fans in the arenas...well most...they should have no announcers do the game, too...

Snooki came up with a doozie for this Tuesday...'Mama Said' by the Shirelles...'mama said there would be days like this'...too many days like this...21 of them...

A couple of significant days in history...the 7th, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the WWII started for us...and the 8th, John Lennon was assassinated in NYC...man...

Have you got your tree up yet?...and your Xmas decor?...do it...be strong and make the best of what we have...

The Horse was one under after 3 holes yesterday, and I thought I would be somebody...alas, the reality set in and I'm a nobody...

Living in the downtown area of SD...I can see the devastation of the forced LOCK DOWN to the restaurants, bars, owners, and workers...right before Christmas!...imagine...Merry what?...

Who doesn't show up for a scheduled debate?...the bloke from Georgia...Purdue...the chicken guy...gobble gobble gobble...oops, that's the turkey sound...what is the chicken's?...well, he was a chicken...cluck cluck cluck...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
