Let's Go To The Course

Usually, when the Masters is on...I stop everything and do a WATCH ONLY for this 4 day period...mesmerized by the beauty of the land...the terrific placement of the greens...the controlled, ah, subdued, crowds...you don't hear 'in the hole' shouted at Augusta...but, this time it's different...shoot, what isn't?...played in November...the greens keepers have to paint the grass green...no azaleas...so, it's the trees, the magnolias, that we see...and, dang it all, the holes look different with no people lining them...still, I WATCH...get to forget about the horrors that the country is going thru, while this is going on...this, my good friends, is a wonderful diversion...

Around here in south Socal, we have had cooler weather...like a high of 67*...so, we hit the pool...as most other venues are shut down...the water temp is at a very nice 82*...weird, that it is warmer in the water, than above...another very nice diversion...

As we had a ZOOM mtg with our Oregon amigos and amigas...they had stormy weather, with rain...and the peops in Bend had snow...great catching up, as we have had very few of these lately...the main topic, of course...other than 'what u been doing?'...was the election...

It's all over now...finally...Biden is at 306 electoral votes...and that's it...oddly, well maybe not so much...trump keeps hanging on to, well, I dunno...actually assigned Guliani to head his attorney brigade to find fault in the election...the disgraced Rudy...has he no shame?...go into hiding dude...listen, folks...we need to quit talking about trump...and focus on the new regime...how they are going to dig us out of this monstrous hole...

Biden has already made contact with the Euro leaders...has established a task force to combat Covid...been interviewing and deciding upon real, like REAL, leaders to fill up his cabinet...people that he can LISTEN to...and draw from...that he won't fire if they differ from him...yes, back to REALITY!...

But, until he actually does exit the White House, it is impossible to not talk about the bloke...will he go peacefully?...will he have to be escorted out?...we are hearing that the workers in the WH, are walking around on egg shells...doing whatever they can to avoid the orange...that he is turbulent...has fear that he is going to be arrested...debts, my goodness, the debts...pardons, can he pardon himself?...why would he worry about that, unless he has done something wrong?...don't recall Prez O worrying about that...Nixon got a pardon from Ford, after he resigned due to Watergate...BTW, he never admitted guilt...ah, see some parallel?...I dunno, there must be something we don't know about...but, he does...

This collegiate football season...who is playing and who is not...who has Covid, who doesn't?...not sure how with all the physical contact in the sport, it carries on...until we have the vaccine...right?...the Ducks at the Cougs...still on, right?...today at?...have no idea...4 pm on FOX...weather?...37* at game time...

From the can't make this crap up files...trump made his first speech since the election...promising vaccines by the end of the year, to EVERYONE, but New York!...man, what a piece...

I went to bed at 8 last nite...you heard me right...this weather and darkness confuses moi...and I awakened at 4...who does that?...8 hours of sleep, but, c'mon Horse...and, listen, when I look out at the other condos, there are TV's on...lots of 'em...I am not by myself...
