Hi, kids...we are approaching the end of this calendar year, 2019...how has it been for you?...odd, to try to wrap it all up in a few sentences, right?...the best of...the worst of...thing is, the ball keeps on a bouncing...for moi?...Marvelous!...as our grandson, Cyrus Allan Joesph was born...everything else is secondary...

These damn bowl games...yup, I keep on a missing most of them...was asked why I am such a poor prognosticator?...it's not that I pick bad, but the teams I have endorsed aren't playing up to snuff...don't give a crap...what was that effort by USC yesterday?...perfectly AWFUL...and then the guys from the Palouse...OMG!...they actually prepared for the run?...made the entire Air Force look like the Army...ran wherever they wanted...UGLY...both Pac 12 teams looked like dung...hey, the best team I have seen thus far, in ALL of these bowl games has been SDSU...really...hmmm, might the Mountain West conference be better than they are getting credit for?...

Speaking of Marvelous...we continue the saga of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel...something like that...Amazon Prime production...we now have got the characters down...and the interest is there...we are in season 1...have me thoughts about why is this going to last 3 seasons, as that is where they are now?...gotta pick up some...must have...

How was your  Xmas?...yea, we have already set plans for next year...but, wowser, that is a long time from now...but, I would love to see the lights of Manhattan at this time of year...it's either that, or another Maui trip I reckon...you know, on a fixed income.....unless I hit the Pick 6...hey, haven't been to the off track for a couple of months...have some bucks from there in my hands...well, in ticket form...

Yet...I like the tree still up...with the lights on...love the way we have the condo decorated...when do we have to take her all down?...is there a date mandate?...

The Final Four play today...if the pattern continues, as my pix are totally wrong...then here is what will happen...Oklahoma will beat LSU...and Clemson will handle THE Ohio State...it is truly clear, I have no clue...wait, it's cuz these bowl teams are tanking...yea, that's it...

You die hard Blazer mania dudes...have another shot at the LaLa Lakers tonight...rumor is that LeBron is out...there you go, an advantage...the Lake Show has lost like 4 in a row?...how about 5?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
