Even the best of coaches can freeze up in prime time...witness the ever mentioned, genius of the transfers...SDSU's own legend, Steve Fisher...who had the game wrapped last night versus the game New Mexico St...and then, inexplicably, gave up points after points and let the sure thing go to OT...including allowing a 3 pointer to be shot when a foul was needed...looked like a rookie coach...and then...hold on again...and do foul for a 2 shooter in lieu of a 3 ball...and win...

It's what goes on in the Big Dance...weird stuff...especially for the favored teams...look at Louisville...who played just well enough to win...against unheralded Manhattan...who just happens to be coached by a former assistant of the Card's Coach, another legend, Rick Pitino...my choice to win it all...well...I'm looking like I picked wrong again...eegads...

Today is a huge day for my bracket...much diff than the other blokes I am against...and will get me going in the right direction...who knows?...UO did well versus BYU...showed great speed and D...which I have not seen from them all year...what?...

Watched the tape of Idol....this is the WORST group ever!...I don't see a one that is worthy...in fact, there are so many inferior ones...that the Voice has much better choices...and for goodness sakes...judge Harry Connick, Jr is an absolute pain in the ass...he's not much better than the contestants...I keep thinking JLo is going to unload on him one of these nights...and THAT would be worth watching...

Pad's woes...I mean...c'mon...they named Cashner the opening day starter...and then he goes out and gets hammered...baseball not booze...well, after his showing, maybe both...and the O looked anemic...like olden times...not a good look...am real scared...

Get this...USD paid $36 grand to play in a T after the Big Dance and NIT picked their teams...and got to host a 1st round game...where 1,000 people showed up...hmmm...waste of $?...just maybe...and probably will save Grier's job...right?...

My 'stache is back...and asked my son whether I should paint it or not...he hemmed and hawed...and said go for it...paint it!...so today, this is what I am going to do...blame it on him...

The SD finest is at it again...in the GQ...cracking down on jaywalking...$198 fines...for everyone but the homeless....who do it regularly...so if you look somewhat normal, the motorcycle cops, will ticket you...witnessed it the other day twice...our friend TT, got one himself...hey my good man, you look TOO GOOD!...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
