Bracket Mania

How's your bracket going?...my main guys are hanging in there...and now...it's the big games...this weekend will set the whole thing up...the first games are the toughest...hoping that the Aztecs can win again...

Upset?...the Dukies are out!...didn't see that coming...where is Mercer anyway?...North Dakota St over Okla...in fact, all the Oklahoma schools are gone...ie, Oky St and Tulsa...

The Zags beating the Cowboys was huge for me...in a horribly officiated one...way too many touch fouls...ruined any flow to the match...booooo...

I'd like to say there are some big games today...well, they ALL ARE!...

The overlap of baseball and basketball has begun...kind of neat...for us who like them the same...I'm not sure how this works...but the Bums and DBacks are playing counting games in Australia...it's not even April???...

I got one Pick 6 tix...and got 4 right...which paid $0...ha ha...Santa Anita...I have told you that Del Mar goes twice this year, right?...my path to Solana Beach is etched in stone...either by car or train...depends..."and away they go"...

Looks like Adam Scott is peaking at the right time...so he can defend his Master's Title...is beating everyone up at Arnie's...up by SEVEN at the 1/2 way point...eegads...

And yet another possible sighting of the mystery plane...

Sorry to tell you Lee, but K St is way gone...Kentucky is not that bad a team...so take solace...

NBA...bad news for you Thunder (Supersonics) fans...Westbrook went down with a knee with a collision...inadvertent...too bad...PDX in a pick 'em at Charlotte...naw, take the Bobbycats...and the worst in the west?...the Lake Show is battling the Jazz...why do they keep Coach D?...a mess...

 Went to Seasons 52 for happy hour last eve...they offer a win flight of 3 tastes...and they are a decent pour...you pick your fav, and they give you a glass of it...as well as a flat bread pizza...all for $15 or $20, depending on your level...kind of cool...

Tall order for the Ducks today...as they take on the Badgers...who are very, very big and good...UO must try to run them...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
