BAM!

And just like that, the Pads are back in the hunt...as they completed a deal to send C Grandal, and a couple of pitcher maybes, to the Bums...for none other than the worst kept secret in all of beisbol...Matt Kemp!...a legit big time hitter that fits into anyone's lineup beautifully...this time, in OURS!...and the lights are back on at Petco...

Let's examine the Dodgers, er Bums...they lost their SS Ramirez...and did a rash of trades to shore up their infield...elder statesman Rollins from the Phillies, another that type, 2B Kendrick from the
Angels, and now, C Grandal from SD...that puts Ethier back in the starting lineup in the OF...couple this with the best pitching staff in the game...hmmm...they have lost their speed...and now will go base to base?...I dunno...

Hoops...the Clip Joint were on a roller coaster ride with the Pacers...the 1st unit would build up huge leads, and the 2nd would come in and give it all up...the rough part of LA, they are NOT deep...and this is a turrible problem...the main issue is the lack of backup to PG CPIII...a trade is needed...the Blazers lost at Minnesota....a bad loss...as that team is abysmal...Aldridge had one of those...didn't have a FG until the end of the 3rd period...

SDSU has hit a funk...barely beating Long Beach...60-59...can't hit a bloody shot...let's hope it's a lull in the season...hey Dr Cris, USD is at UCSB this eve...

The latest release on the improper interrogations used by the military...after 9/11...well, it didn't take long for the mastermind to defend his actions...former VP Dick Cheney...saying he'd do it again...what a wonderful human being...

The rains are set to hit us again...sure looks like it, as I gander out our windows....and it is said to be big stuff...up and down the west coast...normally, that doesn't include SD...this time it does...and more than 10 foot waves...so, the bulldozers have been out and putting mountains of sand between the water and the beach communities...

You would not want to be in the mix yesterday...as I was awful trying to play golf...eegads...no one thing I need to improve...it is all of it...yet, I parred the last and it ended up being a tie...and I lost nuttin...go figure...tourney on Saturday...I am NOT ready...

Not that it matters, but there is STILL nothing in my stocking...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
