Tiger!

Emerging from the pack out at the Farmer's was none other than the one and only Tiger Woods...captivating the masses with precision playmaking...and is the only pro at double digits under after 36 holes...we got to see him at 4 holes...the weather was OK at first, but tumbled to Oregon type of rain later in the day...so, we got out of there...most of the crowd was following him...he looked good, he looked on, and he was...one huge stat...he wins 83% of the time when he is leading at the half way point...what?...

The others...quietly, playing with Tiger, was the very nice play of Rickey (don't call me Rick) Fowler...who matched Wood's 7 under on the North...Lefty, fresh from refiguring his taxes, collapsed to one under, and barely, I mean barely, survived the cut...there are a lot of tiny little pros out there...not one of those, was Lumpy...who hooked a drive at 3 and let out an expletive...we were within 10 feet of the tee...very cool position...Daly was in our sights for a bit...seemed to be struggling...

You know, I have been at many of these events...and the one thing that I get...is that these blokes don't seem to enjoy what they do...rarely do you see smiling faces...it's all stern and somber...I guess golf is like that...very taxing....oops, sorry Lefty, I wasn't going to bring that up again...and as others have said, if you don't like it, move your sorry ass out of the state...that was others saying it, not me...

The Lake Show won...albeit to the worst traveling team in the league, the Jazz...who looked to punch in the time clock on this one...good for LA, but bad for anyone who put down $300 a seat to watch it...all of the Lakers looked good, and all of the Jazz looked bad...the NBA...

We're going to try to dodge the rain drops and head on out to Sycuan for a round...
