The Manson Family




Nothing more creepy than the late 60's and early 70's marauding group of whatevers...the Charlie Manson Family...an existence of the then so called 'hippie culture'...which they were hardly of...but more of a stoned out mess of a group, led by a monster...got so bored with life, that they took other's...LIVES...in brutal fashion...most of you are well aware of this...the Sharon Tate murder, amongst others in that home...and the day after the LaBianca's murders...it was front page news, of course...

What was not known...at least to the public at the time...there were about 60 MEMBERS in the family...yes, you read that right...however, only a few were involved in the murdering...at least, in these two major cases...60!...

Manson, and his select group were all found guilty, and sentenced to death...thing is, in 1972 the state of Cali...abolished the death penalty...so, there they were...plucked down in prison for 'life'...well, not so fast, my good friends...systematically, they would ask the parole board to get themselves out...good behavior...model prisoners...life has changed...and so on...

There are 5 still living...in prison...and one, finally, did indeed get the affirmative...to be let out...Leslie Van Houten...who was part of the LaBiancas murders...and my question to you...is this just?...should this be allowed?...what is she now, 72?...the serving murdered family members don't want this...'they should forever be in prison'...what say you?...

Moving on...

The UO Alum, Sabrina Ionescu...hoopster from now the New York Liberty...did what no one else has ever done...ALL TIME RECORD!!!...man or woman...NBA or WNBA...in the 3 point shooting contest...only missed 2 shots!...imagine...she is in a league of her own...37 points...you seeing this, Curry?...challenge?...

Also, rising to the top...where he belongs...Rory McIlroy...in the Scottish Open...lil guy who hits it a ton...but, most all great golfers are lil guys...closer to the ground, I say...big fat hands, too...

The Friars started the 2nd half right...clubbing 4 hr's...in an 8-3 win in Phillie...keep it going, boyz...one game at a time...actually, it is a double header today...and good lord, Weathers is going for us in the 2nd one...didn't we drop him to AAA?...maybe he can go 2 innings...c'mon AJ...you can do better than this...it's all on you...

Kevin Costner and his latest wife have split...now, it's down to who gets what...dinner plates and the rest of the crap...really?...Kev, you can't just get new stuff?...hells bells, you will be married again within 3 years anyhow...and she will want NEW things...let it go, bro...

It was odd to see the rep from DeSantis's Florida (DF), Matt Gaetz, interrogate the FBI Chief...as the House Ethics Cmtte, is looking INTO him...Gaetz...as they call it a 'reopened probe'...this trump clan is always just a step away from indictments...always, with good reason...

We started a new to us series...'Suits'...and I had no idea Ms Markle was in it...she is a true beauty, right?...fast paced attorney spoof...I guess...kind of like it, and will go to episode 2...

Is it just me, or does MTG only wear one dress?...forever the red one...or does she have a closet of red dresses?...

It was only 94* out at Singing Hills yesterday...and despite all the sun precautions I took...I still pulled my groin...no idea what I did, how I did it, or when it happened...about the 13th hole or so...

Yes sirree Bob, we did get tix for Orygun in November...for the USC game...the flight tix...as we shall be embarking on The 50th Anniversary Tour...Boston, then Maine...then Portland...ah, the other coast...I'm confused...

         What's not to love about the weekend?...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

O Yeah!

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter...
