Now is the Time

I have said often, that we are in too early times to start the process for the 2024 election...ah, but NOW, this date of July 9th, 2023...the Horse declares that NOW IS THE TIME...let us begin...the Demos have but one real alternative to the incumbent, Prez B...RFK, Jr...and the Repubs have a slurry of possibles, with the leader of 'em, none other than the guy from Mara-Lago, trump...thus, most of the show will be on the elephants side...

Is there a chance that the Repubs could put forth someone else?...they need to, as, donny can't win...so just how do they finagle their way through this?...his forevers will be damned to go elsewhere...but, the party knows much better...the absolute need for a debate is a must...and trump has to be pressured to be on the docket...to show his party his ineptness...I am not saying who they should choose...that part is to be determined...

Let the ball start rolling...

Odd...the latest phenomena of the masses at singing concerts...throwing objects that hit and hurt the performers...phones, and whatever the over passioned fans have...gosh, it used to be undies, bras, and the like...flowers?...I figure that the distance will grow...too close to the stage, now...back in the day, it was tomatoes...right?...and in some saloons, beer bottles...so, the thing, is not new...but the phone?...it is the lifeline for almost all...

The Friars in a squeaker, as we broke the Mets streak at 6...finally, the Relief corps stood up...and preserved a 3-1 lead...man, the SP Snell, has been terrific for over a month now...one more today, early to determine the winner of this series...a good one...Verlander for NY, and Musgrove for the Pads...

Speaking of concerts...we have Neil Young on Tuesday...and his show has been plagued with bad reviews...comes out in a one man band...sings his 'new' stuff, and very little of what made him famous...turns grouchy when the fans grumble for them...hmmm, hope he got the hints and alters what he does...am VERY pessimistic...

No action on the Dame trade...must believe that PDX is demanding a whole lot from the Heat...hope it works out, and that the Lakers don't get him...I don't have a good feeling...the longer it takes...

One thing we DID find in old town Temecula...a plucky vessel for me beer...a genuine German mug...with the top that opens and shuts...not one of them, made in China jobies...looks like it may hold two 12 ounces in it...yea, and to you heathens, I just may fill it to the brim, with some Bud Light...you callous forevers...I digress...have yet to use it...one more thing, this antique store was terrific...loads of vinyls, too...and baseball cards, at $2 a pack...well worth the trip, kids...

'Lincoln Lawyer' has started back up on Netflix...season 2...this is just a great series...do the season 1, first...but if you are already a LL groupie, this next one is a beaut...same cast, BTW...many change...not this one...

500 days?...is that the time for the Putin War in Ukraine?...what a waste of mankind...who loses?...the pawns...he is a disgrace to the human race...
