Happy Easter

It's Easter Sunday...as we all shelter in place...hoping...praying...for a cure for this horrific virus that surrounds the World...

It's a test for us all...as the churches preach, that 'Jesus Christ has risen!'...without parishioners in their midst...whether you are a believer or not, the message is powerful...and as worthy as anything out there...take some time to figure it all out...it is up to you, and only you, to take the meaning to heart...

Snooki sent his song out...'Hallelujah'...he recommends two versions, one by KD Lang, and the other by 2 Cellos...I listened to KD's and it was quite nice...could not find 2 Cellos...my personal fav of the song is by Jeff Buckley...regardless, kids...it is riveting...

That song was written by a Canadian, Leonard Cohen...released in 1984...his version is totally different, mostly due to his lower voice...crackling sort of...and now you know...take some time this am, and play it on whatever you listen to...

I couldn't take it any more...so, I tried...but, the beard came off yesterday...look to the left, and that's kind of what I am...now...the itch was too great...ha ha...well, it will return in stubble form...but, not in length....

We ventured out on a 'legal' bike ride yesterday...gosh, I am not sure what is truly legal anymore...word out is that the police were ticketing people, without masks...near the 94...and for bikers...well, we rode on the streets...not in parks....adorned by the masks...one of our normal paths, is by the bay...which was slammed with people!...'legal areas'...which we will not go to again...like being at Costco...the downtown Gaslamp Quarter, was virtually abandoned...with most restaurants closed...and if they were, the homeless had set up camp in front of some of their spots...tragic...the city has given them sites in the convention center, which they choose against...

This...our beloved Gaslamp Strip Club...not what you think...it was a grill your own meat restaurant, not the girly thang...has shuttered and is now replaced by this...what?...have no idea what it is to be...well, until all this has lifted...

Another Q...we have listened to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, often, lately...really...that's the set up...who out there has actually seen them, or the Rat Pack live?...LIVE...I have not, as scratch was not in my wallet back in those days...ha ha...like now, too...

We had a power outage yesterday...with little notice as to why...well, no notice...I kept thinking it was the cable company...but, the microwave's time went off...as well as my computer...odd...

We are finally heading into warmer, sunnier days...perhaps, a bit of the showery stuff today...then the coast is much clearer...like really...yes, finally...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
