Morning, ya"ll...top of it to you...as you pour a cup of Joe...and settle in to see what is on the mini-mind of the Horse...well, he is doing just fine, thank you...the weather here in SoCal is rainy...ewww...'but, we need it'...and you realize that this is Friday the 13th...hey, are you one of them superstitious peops?...I used to be...when I coached...stupid...well, maybe try this 13 beers theory...ha ha... let's get going...

You know who Justin Thomas is?...PGA bloke...fresh off of a big W at Kapalua...in the T of champs...took a puddle jumper and landed in Oahu for the next T...and, get this, started off with a 59 in the opening round...OMG!...FIFTY-NINE!...think he's not on his game right now?...ha ha...listen kids, it is fleeting...and these guys get it going for a couple of weeks...just like you and me...wait, that is totally wrong...congrats to a dream start for JT...geez, another JT?...

Imagine the uproar about the Bolts...leaving...the hated owner Spanos ( and fam) are being crucified...well, that may be a bit strong...but, he is not welcome in this part of the US...this team meant a lot to the locals...I listened to the pundits yesterday...the worst was Michael Wilbon...who made mockery of  this area...like it's not worthy...what a piece of s___ he is...let's just say that his ego matches his body type...BTW, the team hired a new HC...nobody I know gives a crap...well, Wilbon might...

A week until the changing of the guard here in this country...the Demos are not going easily...hey, if it doesn't work...then get your act together and get a candy man (woman) that can get elected...I emphasize this...the DNC needs a facelift...from the people, and NOT from their elite...you Demos, THAT is what you should be spending your energy on...and $ ...

I talk about the Golden St Warriors...a lot...they ran right by the Pistons last night...Detroit is making the terrible west coast swing...I'm sure the east coasters hate it...just ask the Cleveland Cavs...who are doing the same thing...listen, nobody...I mean nobody...moves the ball like GS...in all of the NBA...almost 30 teams, and they all play pick and roll...spot up for a 3...except them Warriors... pleasure to watch...

We have the sickness in our condo...nuttin worse...so we just plug along...mine is a fever that followed my cortisone thang...Marsh has the full meal deal...Dayquil, NyQuil, Excedrin, water, chicken soup, blankets everywhere, hankies, what have I left out?...maybe try some bourbon...hey, we have to be well for tomorrow...her birth date...c'mon...pooh...naw, won't happen...we will celebrate later...

NFL playoffs...I do like this time of the year...most ballers do...here's what I got...reminder, this is just for fun...the Pats over the Texans (duh)...the Chiefs to surprise the Steelers (what?)...the Hawks in a squeaker over the Falcons...and the Pack over the 'Boys and Romo...you heard that right...something will emerge, and that will be TR...never, ever, bet on the NFL...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
