Civil War

It went as I expected...the Civil War...as the Ducks had a free march to the Pac 12 Playoffs...well, they didn't have to win the game...but...the meaning of it was greater than that...as to keep in the running for the top 4 in the pais...a victory was a must...

Shot right out to a 30-0 start...and it was over...Mariota was splendid...shoot the team was a clicking...and off they go to play...Arizona!...if UO is one of the top in the country, they must beat the best from the south...very good stuff...just wondering this...how many games has he played in their entirety?...

I must mention the Beavers...the hot rumor abounding is that next year they are going to feature a running QB...does this mean they are going back to an option offense?...OMG!...this is a bad program and you Nation Faithful, you are being tested yet again...good luck...

Alabama beat Auburn in their rivalry game...they call it the "Iron Bowl"...and tell me I'm wrong, but the Tide looked simply awesome...huge, fast, and deep...and appeared to be the number one team in contention...at least last night they were...

Ol Miss beat MSU in theirs...and eliminated the State team from the final 4...who'd a thunk that those two would last that long this season...really a step up...and congrats...

And the other top 4 one...FSU was extremely lucky to be playing UF...with a lame duck coach...the embattled QB Winston threw 4 pix and won...eegads...now if UO gets there, that is who they want for game numero uno...

California Chrome...drew over 20 grand to the track at DelMar yesterday...that is huge in horse racing, kids...and did not disappoint...won going away, and the crowd went crazy...we are heading out there today for closing day...going with our friends, the Allens...who are leaving us and moving up north to LA...booo....

OK, I had a good day at the links...missed a 5 footer at the finishing hole for an 80...I don't break that score much if at all...hit the back of the cup and swirled out...dang...still, the round felt great...and yup, I walked the course...pat pat on me back...

Have you bought any Christmas CD's yet this year?...you must listen to Sara Evans' one...and if there is anyone better than Johnny Mathis...well, there are very few...maybe Karen Carpenter...we will go shopping this week...

I have mentioned this before...but you have to try the Sonos Sound System...it's the latest...actually based in Santa Barbara...Best Buy has it...if you are in the market, it's super...not cheap...but so much better than Bose...I wouldn't lie...and it's one of those, that you can keep adding on to...controlled by your smart phone...really interesting and innovative...

We did get the Global Pass...you have to qualify for it...and it does cost...and you do get fingerprinted and checked out...and it does make the passage way in and out of the US to Mexico and Canada a breeze...but we are too scared to go to Tijuana...ha ha...it also is the vehicle to get the TSA PRE<...which is the reason for us getting it...

Gotta find my rain gear, as we are supposed to be getting the wet stuff this week...
