Something's In The Air



The shocking sight of modern war...on the pixels...is terrifying to me...absolutely terrifying!...the launching of missiles intended for slaughter of humans...rockets...mortar...imagine on being the recipient...the Middle East is totally combustible...and Israel will defend itself to...the end...not only rockets from the Hamas, but now, from Lebanon...going in and testing the Iron Dome...or, whatever it is called...that does get most of them, but not all...

Most all residents have 'safe rooms'...or, bunkers...you know, just in case...Gaza has endless tunnels...you know, just in case...why do humans have to live in such a fashion?...knowing, it probably will be needed...the rooms, or bunkers, or tunnels...regardless of what side...

I fear for humanity...

Don't think that we are all safe here in the USA...how many mass murders have we had in the past 10 years?...right, too many to count...in almost all 'safe places'...churches, schools, malls, restaurants, bowling alleys, bars, theaters...c'mon, the list is endless...we are apprehensive of crowds...the use of assault rifles is common place...

I fear for humanity...

We have leaders (?) that thrive on deceit, lying, and bullying...at least 40% of this nation buying into it...how can that be?...do we not read anymore?...do we only watch certain channels?...are we that ignorant?...take a moment...and watch and listen to what is going on in the trump fraud trial...caught up in lies, in just this money scheme...it is pathetic...

I had much more to write about today...but, I am too mad to continue...this will suffice for today...

There must be better ways...this era of constant lying must end...for the sake of our country...

I fear for OUR humanity...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
