A Ducky Day

Sometimes the homonym has it's glory...what rhymes with Ducky?...well, there are a boatload of words...depending on if you are a true UO fan, or...not...one who is not is from Pickup U...ah, Utah...as the Duckies made short work of the Utes...was the Horse surprised?...you betcha...with a home record of like 18 straight wins in Salt Lake City...I feared a very close tussle...but, this day, the Ducks were one of the superior college football teams in the land...which shall raise the eyebrows of the cats who decide the final 4...cuz, the game was on prime time...for Saturday sports...OK, enough hype...a really really good showing for Oregon...

The other Oregon team, the Beavers...I had an equal amount of fear for their match down in Tucson...to be candid, I watched just the 1st half...and felt that it was just time for the Beavers to take this one...BUT, the ridiculous finish of the half, just might come back to....speaking of Halloween...haunt them...forgoing a chip shot FG for a fake...which they showed just a few minutes prior...stupid and cost them 3 points...how much did they lose by?...right, 3...no idea what happened in the 2nd half...officiating?...play calling?...outplayed?...can't see the latter...OSU was clearly the better team...at least judging by the opening stanza...

Apparently there are a lot of Palestinians in our country...or sympathizers...as many cities are being ladened with protests over that war...I feel for them...but, have grave doubts about the Hamas...which leads them, right?....or am I wrong?...as there are constant rockets firing towards Israel...as the war is now...by reports, inside the Gaza Strip...I may be off base, but the Hamas started this...nobody should attack Israel, in their right minds...I have said this before, I don' think there is a stronger army than theirs...perhaps, military...

Another mass shooting last nite...right...OMG...this time in Tampa, Florida...2 dead, 16 wounded at a street party...word out is sketchy this am...but, here we go again...'our thoughts and prayers go out...'...

One of my fav sitcoms of all time...'Friends'...lost one of the 6 main cast members...said to have drowned in his jacuzzi...Matthew Perry...Chandler Bing...more info to come out later...

Have you seen and heard your guy trump speak lately?...what on earth?...the guy is going down fast...I think he is so hyper and knowing that he is going south, it ends up in his speech...er, babble...we shall see him on stage, er on the stand, November 1...for his next show...

Mike Pence dropped his bid for Prez...no chance, right?...and now donny wants his blessing...can you imagine?...after laughing at the Jan 6 chants 'hang Mike Pence!'...don't care what religion you are Mike, there is no salvation for that guy...

Game 2 of the World Series...all the DBacks...running and bunting and hitting and winning...ex Padre, Tommy Pham, had 4 of 'em...in a 9-1 stomp...BTW, the erstwhile, elder, Denver sports columnist, Woody Paige...in a rant about the two teams in the series...'there is some form of rivalry in these two teams, coming from adjacent states'...wait a minute, buster...New Mexico has something to say about that...

Got a call from HC Barney Fife, around 5 pm last eve...said that the team was eating pasta, drinking Kool Aid, and were about to go see the TAYLOR SWIFT flick...man, I can't believe I pay him what I do...
