What the World Needs Now

Almost a decade back, I lead with this...'What the World Needs Now'...by Jackie DeShannon...can't recall why...had to be some type of killings...but, now we have the Hamas/Israel War...and the apparent attack, worldwide on the Jewish people...to say it has become yet another plight...disgrace to the people of Russia....as they have for over 100 years tried to get rid of the Jews...probably longer, for you history buffs with more knowledge than I...somehow, the battle has transferred over to their soil...is it not enough, that they have to deal with their war...yes, THEIR WAR in Ukraine...?...witness at some colleges, the same thing...here...in the US....protests...and here we go again...

Wooah...there was a barrage of smashing going on here...at the Home...like at 3 am...no idea what it was...sounded like some person taking a 2 by 4, to the building...loud enough to awaken the Horse...I got up and looked down at the streets...it had stopped, and I saw no one running...hmmm...weird...wonder what it was....

I know I have said this before...this, too...but, there is mighty questionable officiating going on in the NFL...PI's, or not PI's...strange marking of the ball...holding?...things that can affect the score, watch out now...not necessarily the outcome...but the score...the point differential...there is a lot of money bet on these games...and that point line is mighty crucial...has any NFL referee ever been caught gambling er, cheating?...ah ha...I watch the Red Zone, and man, do I see odd calls...especially, since I have no favs in the league....

NBA...if you are a diehard Blazer fan...you will be tested this season...they may go without wins...seriously, they are that bad and undermanned...wouldn't make any difference if Phil Jackson was coaching them...listen, kids...unless, management pulls off a major, blockbuster trade...20 wins would be amazing...

If you are a republican...you need to start studying the background...the resume of one gal, Nikki Haley...the Horse predicts this...she will be YOUR candidate, come 2024....as trump will be in some form of incarceration...time to enter the wagering field on this...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
