Daylight Ends



This annual thing...of turning the clocks forward or back...mighty confusing, right lads and lassies?... 'Spring FORWARD, Fall BACK'...so, all of the clocks you have in your house...have to be adjusted...can't we just settle on one...and call it good?...all but 2 states do that...not ours...OK, we will fall back tonight at 2 am...ah, then 1 am...whatever...do we lose sunlight, or gain it?...gosh, we can make even the daylight confusing...

This started as a byproduct of WWI...really...copied the Euros in their efforts to save on fuel costs by adding an extra hour of daylight...whatever...so, blame it on the Germans in 1916...took until LBJ signed it  into law for the USA...don't blame me...I am just the carrier...

What on earth is the NBA doing?...a tourney in the regular season?...don't really get it yet...do see the odd coloring of the playing floor...whatever...as the PDX Blazers won again...they probably have my blog on the bulletin board...haha...gonna say this right now, and you fellow hoopers may be mad at moi...but, I am finding the NBA real boring right now...real boring...snoresville...switch!...nobody plays D, and nobody runs a pattern O...

Game day...now I do dig the college football, even with all it's sign cheating and the boot...Michigan's Harbaugh has been on the hot seat all season...nice fella...the games that really interest the Horse...Cal at Oregon...KSU at Texas...Notre Dame at Clemson (what has happened to them?)...Oklahoma at Okla St...Mizzou at Georgia...Wash at USC...LSU at 'Bama...UCLA at Zona...and finally, OSU at Prime...9 games...my day is set...well, after a Costco run...

You are asking about the Boss and I's sickness?...well, purnt near run it's course...nasty throat thinger...gezz, it hung around for almost 2 weeks...booo...

Up in Arcadia...at Santa Anita...we have the Breeder's Cup...the finest hosses in the land...all land...running for huge payouts...and I pick em early and hold on...there were 5 races yesterday, and I hit one...too many good choices...maybe I should go by the color of the owners kilts...

Help me Docs...Brooke Shield suffered a seizure from drinking too much water...too much?...too much beer, I can see...maybe...too much wine?...OK....too much tequila?...c'mon...but, water?...

Got a tip from Snooki to watch the new Beatles vid of 'Now and Then'...a composition of what John started and the remaining Beatles finished...just released...you must see, it is awesome...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
