Closing Arguments



I can not fathom the human pain...losing a child...do not want to ever feel that...as life is short as is...but in this merciless manner, is all I can take...so true, throughout the USA, the parents are feeling the same...home school?...what safety is there in the school we drop our kids off at?...is there truly a plan by the police in the area to combat said emergencies?...it all comes down to 'who do you trust?'...

If...what we are hearing today...that the police in Uvalde, waited for an hour before going into the school...for fear of 'being shot'...that just can't be true, can it?...what about the kids and staff, UNARMED while they awaited?...'they' were waiting for the task forces, that were trained for this...I guess...'they' could be the prey or the police...sad, if true...

There is a story out this am, about an 11 year old girl who survived the massacre...by painting herself in a fellow students blood...to look herself, as DEAD...the seemingly endless time awaiting the police to attack the murderer...she endured...she could hear the police outside...as she prayed for them to come into the school house and take this guy out...LORD!...

You know, I got some passionate replies about what to do about this...the AR-15 abolishment...the better background checks...the better scrutiny of the mentally deranged...the idea (Cruz's) of a single door theory...the delay of delivery of a gun, after the application...and others...OK...

In this case, the killer just turned 18...had no driver's license...and yet was able to buy two AR-15's, ammunition to take down a city. and camouflage...with what did he use as credentials?...there is blame here, for sure...

And so we go...in this country with a lot of sorrow, a lot of blame, and yet, NO SOLUTIONS!...just queries...until it happens again...and at the rate we are on right now, it will...

I borrowed the lead title today, from the nugatory Depp/Heard trial...the one thing that reverberates in me brain...why stay in this marriage that long?...both guilty...of stupidity...imagine...

The Dubs closed out Doncic and his band of Mavs...the lack of coaching of Dallas is legendary...but, that's the way they like it...get out of the way, coach (?) Kidd...I will say this about GS...they move and shake like olden times teams...cool...a blend of vets and youngsters...and on the other hand, Doncic, doesn't play a lick of D...yet is a major threat on O, similar to the play of the Beard...BOTH, are in need of getting in shape for this game...

One more thing, why are there 3 refs when Scott Foster is on the game?...he calls it from everywhere as is...the other 2 could just sit down...

The NRA Convention is going on in Houston as planned...Texas Governor Abbott, wisely has taken himself off the docket...but that leaves Cruz and trump...what a pair...snake eyes...'no guns allowed' this time at the event...

Covid...day 4 of the quarantine...and had 2 hours of sleep last eve...man...Boss took another test and is negative...well, so is her test results...but SHE has symptoms...and in the dead of nite, we discussed our upcoming Nashville trip...said that we should sleep on it, and make our decision this am...we are cancelling...we need rest...we need rehab time...we are a pair to draw to, I am sorry to say...

We finished Bridgerton...happy ending...BUT, why no Duke?...it was the staple of the first season, and he was just gone for the 2nd?...poorly edited...don't know why, but I relate to Lady Whistledown way too much...

38 years ago in San Ysidro...an area just outside of San Diego...a lone gunman went into a McDonalds...opened fire, and killed 21 people, ie workers, and patrons...a 41 yr old assassin....he was 'hunting for humans' was his boast...took 77 minutes for police to take him out...earlier in the day, he took his wife and 2 daughters to the zoo, and to a different McDonald for lunch...he used an Uzi and a shotgun...

The Pitt Pirates are in town (city?) for a set against us Padres...we need HITS!...time for me to do the Round Dance, which I will once I rid myself of this Covid...take another test tomorrow?...is that the way it works?...it's all about me, right?...I sure am tired...

National Gray Day today...and it is gray outside...gray inside...and gray on the top of me head...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
