To Be Honest

There is a saying, used way too often...when interviewed...that usually triggers me brain...'To be honest with you...'...ah, what you are saying, is that you weren't before?...sure, quite often it is a filler...'you know'...I was told by a 'friend' that he heard me talk on the tele (pixels, TV), and I used that much too much...BINGO!...had no idea I was doing so...thus, quit using it totally...you know...thanks for watching and listening...'ah'...another filler...one more thing...do I stare at the interviewer or at the camera?...to be honest with you, nobody tells you these things...ah, you know, I'm not sure...

Ida did slam into the Louisiana coastline...did disrupt power...was indeed a Cat 4...caused major damage...and now is working it's way up thru the state to Mississippi...

The PGA had it's semis this past week...and the two that ended up tied at the top...went to OT...DeChamboo and Patty Ice...Cantlay...they put on a show that was unbelievable...Bryson with monster drives and Patrick with marvelous putting...if ever there should have been a tie (27 under!), this was the time...Cantlay won on yet another dead eye putt...terrific teevee...for us hacks...and everyone else...

The UO Ducks have their 1st game next week...hosting Fresno St...fresh off a huge W over UConn...45-0...should be a great test for the Quack attack...Snooki, you going?...

The NFL begins next week, too...weird, as I have no dawg in the race...no FF team, either...but do have the red zone to watch...the only way to do so...see all the teams that are about to score...not stuck with one boring game at the whim of the local network...

This came up yesterday...the pull out of the US in Afghanistan...I don't get it...it's been 20 years of misguided steps there...and finally, we are pulling the plug...I got hammered that we (Prez B) were doing so...to be honest with you, we should be staying?...longer?...why oh why?...for moi, it is not political, but a need for our armed forces...so YOU are saying, if trump did it, he would have done it differently?...right...

I digress...

One more thing...the Jan 6 attack on the Capitol...your guy, Jim Jordan, just recalled that he got one more phone call from trump...during the siege...somehow he forgot about that one...'to be honest...I don't recall it...'

60 Minutes did a thang on UFO's...did you see it?...er, have you seen them?...look, up in the sky, at night...when it is really really dark....do you see all those stars?...don't you think there MAY be life on one of them?...maybe on many of them?...
