Israel and Palestine, no longer skirmishes

The battle lines are drawn...and I don't see a back off...who is right and who is wrong?...as Israel and Palestine, their feud has turned deadly...no longer just 'skirmishes' but on the lines of all out war...this is my commentary follow up to yesterday's blog post...can there ever be peace in the region?...I doubt it...think of what is there...Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and well, you get the picture...add on the combustible nation of Israel...so much different than the rest of them....and, our presence in the region...

Why are we there?...duh...the two reasons...oil and our forever faith and promise to help Israel...do YOU have an answer?...no USA regime, Democrat or Republican, has had one...as we wallow in near war most every single day...

On the home front, the Repubs have continued their harassment of the 3rd in command, so to speak, Liz Cheney...as she talked to the House yesterday....blazing, well, lambasting the trump and his so called policies...and what he has done and tried to do, while squatting in the White House...it was highly memorable...and her 'screw you' to the rest of the forevers, who will vote her out of the 'leadership' spot she has...today...really, who would want that position anyhoo?...

Oil?...some areas have had to deal with a shortage, due to a cyber attack...the SE in particular...have not noticed it here in SoCal...we do thrive on our petrol, don't we...

OK, other...

The path to Hawaii...not so easy...as we have to take Covid tests prior to getting on board the plane...you all know this....72 hrs before...as we did yesterday...at $170 a pop...which takes a grand total of 3-5 minutes...now THAT'S a racket...just got back my results, and I am NORMAL!...this may be the first time I have ever, ever, like in my entire lifetime, been termed normal...

Just got word that Snooki passed too...I didn't say past, so quit your worrying...believe me, he is far from normal...should I waketh Marsh, and see what she tested?...she is normal...Laurie?...

Not so much are the mighty Padres...as 5 of them, at this juncture...are in quarantine protocol...Jr and Myers have Covid, and 3 others have been put on the watch list...at least a week of subs running our club...the squib today, suggests we may have more...egads...why doesn't management DEMAND these players get their shots?...c'mon...well, thus far in Colorado, the subs won 8-1 last eve...

The NBA...the teams are in the last week of the regular 72 game season...jockeying for spots...in the playoffs...man, the Warriors have beat the Jazz and Suns in this last phase...I like their enthusiasm and D...and ball movement...fun to watch...and...damn if the Lakers didn't get a W in OT over the Knicks last nite...hate LA...is it just me, or is the Brow the most fragile hoopster ever?...goes down like a Tinkertoy real easily...and often...

Yes, so I went and got my flight pills at CVS yesterday....as you know I am not the easiest flyer...but, after them, I am...and there is the area where anyone can show up and get a Covid vaccine...and there was NO ONE there...really?...c'mon folks, get that done...is there a CVS in Colorado?...hint hint Padres...

Hey, this crypto currency investment is going gangbusters...invested $55, with $5 fees, and now my portfolio is all the way up to $64.13!...just bought $12 more...for some reason, there is a limit to how much I can buy...don't get it...

On the Alaska flight to Maui, one can order food ahead of time...we did...breakfast burrito and a cheese plate...and unlimited jack and cokes...and some unlimited white wine...and...well, that'll do us...thank you...
