It Takes a Worried Man

The war in the Israel/Palestine region is devastating!...I have written about it the past 2 days...but, the reality is, it has hit the streets...is not going away, but, indeed, ESCALATING!...think about the past year, throughout the world, and now we have this...is it not always over the battle for land?...the wars of the past, as some country wants to overtake another's...history does repeat itself...

Where are YOU on this?...it appears that the major powers (?) are sitting back and just observing...assuming that the USA and Russia are whom I am referring to...as both have major interest in the region...

Moving on...

The Repubs did show their unity in ousting Liz Cheney in a closed door meeting...this sort of thing, always bothers me...as to why would they want to hide the process?...these people have been 'voted in' to do their job...represent their constituents...and then secretly do what they do...am I missing something?...

The mighty Padres did play a DH at Denver...minus 5 Covid related isolated players...and split the games, with the rest of the guys who COULD suit up...it's hard and unwise to analyze the dudes, except Pham...he is a piece of work...leave it alone, Horse...

Speaking of horse racing...yes, I am cooled to it...with the embarrassment of Bob Baffert...I will not be betting on the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown...can you trust the untrustworthy?...think not...and will save my allowance from my fixed income...watch it?...probably...bet it?...nope...

We have FINALLY got all the paper work and the like for the trip to Maui...they do NOT make it easy...download this, and add it to that, and take this test and then...well, c'mon dudes...I query this...if everyone aboard the plane, has passed the Covid test, why then to we have to mask up on the flight?...oh well, I'll have another Jack and Coke, please...

A growing trend starting today...the rise of pay for workers...saw this at McDonalds, Chipotle, and Amazon...expect others to follow suit...which means?...

Pay...you ever wonder what the local TV news, weather, and sports people get paid?...some must break even on the clothes they buy...or, do they get an allotment for that?...part of their salary?...Botox, too?...hair spray?...
