Unparalleled Paradigm

Who on earth came up with PARADIGM?...ah, paradime...right?...even pair-a-dime, would be workable...sometimes, I think they (that type of words) were constructed to fool us heathens...you know, the rich speaketh another secret language...like on Downton Abbey...just ring a bell and we will come calling...er, running up from the basement...to service the more fortunate...I digress...

Just why do we still have the Electoral College in our voting system for the most important position in the land?...like above, constructed to assure the PROPER choice, er candidate, gets elected....even though the masses, via the popular vote, may select another...like what happened last time...when Orange won the EC, but not the popular vote for President...

Furthermore...is there a 'law' that forbids a member of the Electoral College from going rogue?...I think not...some states may attack the said member, like fine or remove him or her...is it not possible that a member could be bribed to vote a certain way?...none to this date...since it's inception, has anyone been charged with that?...interesting...and along comes Trump...

Who seemingly challenges all rules in the past...ah, in the Constitution...he lays out the 'what if I do this?'...like the forbidding of his regime to honor a subpoena in Congress...so what, he says?...firing at will, anyone who has the audacity to stand up to him...the FBI?...gone...the CIA?...gone...the Postal Service?...gone...wait a minute...he has another master plan....

Immobilize the mail service so the 'mail-in ballots' can't be counted in time...defund the service...who would do that?...he must be afraid that too many commoners would vote...thus, he may be defeated in the upcoming election...right?...going full circle, here...do not think he wouldn't consider the alteration of votes thru the Electoral College...even though, he would be trounced otherwise...it is all about him...scare you?...does me...

The PDX Blazers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies...think there are grizzlies in Tennessee?...well, I dunno...that team was in Vancouver, Canada...thus, the grizzlies...as bad as the Utah Jazz, who were in New Orleans...c'mon owners, pick out a mascot, er name, that represents your area...but leave the Injuns out of it...anyhoo, the Blazers came up strong in the 4th stanza and won the game...start the playoffs with them LaLa Lakers on Tuesday...I was queried by a commoner, does Portland have a chance against the Lake Show?...yes, a chance...but, NO, can not beat them in a series...OK, kids, prove me wrong...

The mighty Padres got another L...however, mustered up a rally in the 9th...and the tying run got nailed at the plate...deja vu?...happened to us in LA...ah, Mister 3rd base coach, Hoffman, figure it out...yet, again, our RP was horrid...lost 7-6...3 of our dudes left the game...the underachieving Pham (cramps), Yates (figure he is done for the season, and TJ next), and Myers (tightness in back)...another game today at noonish...we will have a rag tag lineup today...might Yonder Alonso make an appearance?...

I'm not sure how this goes...but Trump's brother passed away yesterday...the illness?...71 years young...we all handle grief in a different way...the mourning...as Donny so passionately said, that he lost his best friend...hmmm, but went golfing...I dunno...just seems odd to me, but I will never understand the bloke...

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting...
