The DNC Day One

Let there be no doubt of the direction of the Democratic Party...emphasizing the inadequacies of Donald J Trump as our president...from so many angles, it almost boggles the mind...YES...his rule (what else might you call it?) is filled with self serving debacles...over and over...and over...his inability to understand and cohabitate with other countries is now LEGENDARY...reducing any alliances to money...his neglect of a virus, that was brought to his attention way prior to the extreme deadly zone...his blatant disregard to the constitution...with the singular concept of self preservation...and, with due respect to ALL true Republicans, his use of that party, that immense group of people, to fake his way through their platform...the worst of the lot?...he says he is a church goer...give us all a break...NOW...is the time to sit back...all of us, and listen to what people say...judge for yourself...are YOU being used?...

The VIRTUAL convention does not have the impact that one with actual people in the seats...I thought that they might use, the fake audience...nope...apparently 'taped' talks of the key speakers...YES, I would prefer the robust cheers from the party goers of a normal convention...but, these are not normal times...one must dig deeper in the brain, and decipher the words said...'it is what it is'...the list, thus far....Bernie, Kasich, the common man and woman...and of course, the incomparable Michelle Obama...who began with 'I hate politics...'...yet, weaved her way through mountains of destructive details of Trump...then came back with the importance of the vote for Joe Biden...most (?) say she was marvelous...this blogger, agrees...

Day 2...this will exhilarate the passion of the forever Trumpsters (which rhymes with dumpsters)...the featured speakers are Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the ever slick speaking master of the language, Prez Bill Clinton...this will be a goodun...I didn't say that I was a master of the language...

AND, in Congress...the postmaster general, Louis DeJoy, is scheduled for Friday to hang in the Senate...perhaps...unless, Orange forbids him to do so...

Confused...the mighty Padres broke their 5 game losing streak in Texas...erupting for 14 runs...and get this, the Mgr of SD questions the 2nd home run hit by Jr...a grand salami...going from 7 to 11...listen, with our history of horrific RP, NO LEAD is safe...let's say, I am. becoming less and less of a fan of this bloke...I might fire him...but then, I'd react like Orange...

The bubble playoffs in the NBA...the Clip Joint benefitted from an ejection of one of the Mavs best dudes...listen, NBA refs...with the crap the entire Clipper team does, to punish the other side is absolutely ridiculous and highly questionable...not to say that any shenanigans happen...ah, today, we have the Blazers and the Lake Show...

I have rethought the match up...the Lakers are the only team in the league, that does not have the shooting weapons...so, gulp, the sorry post defense just may work against them...may...might...possibly...well, maybe not...
