April Showers

April showers bring May flowers...that's it, right?...well, part one is upon us...it be showering this fine am in sunless San Diego...for all of the peering at me weather apps on the iPhone, I did NOT see this coming...yea, a non-golf day, so I wasn't inspecting enough...BTW, what do YOU use for your weather app anyway?...I have two...Yahoo, cuz they have the best pix for the city that I have on file (cool)...and the Weather Channel, due to their details...

If you came out of the Nugget/Blazer game a little disappointed, you must be a PDX fan...Denver dominated the entire time...not sure if either team spent a lot of energy on the defensive side of the ball...and what on earth was ref Kenny Mauer up to?...bizarre calls...yup, he chose to dominate the game himself...almost like he had a wager on it...naw, the refs don't do that....ha ha...

On the other coast...in DC...Trump has his guard up again...got his lawyers to sue two of the banks (the Deutsche Bank and Capital One) he uses...to make sure they don't fork over his money situation to Congress...he who protest too much, must have lots to hide...the reason used?...'Presidential harassment'....I can't make this stuff up...

We watched a terrific documentary on the Rolling Stones in Latin America...filmed a few years ago...unbelievable crowds and it was so interesting to see the interaction...culminating in a free concert in Havana, Cuba...did you hear of this?...back when Prez O was still running our country...

One of those countries...Venezuela...is combusting...or, so it would seem...the opposition leader is calling for the troops to turn their guns on the present administration...a real coup, Donny...which, of course, Trump wants...but, as per orders (request?) by Putin, the US has stayed outta there...

Dem Padres...SS Tatis is out with a leg strain...which changes the lineup, duh...the kid we put out to take his place had a rough go defensively...I dunno (I say that a lot)...but, put Machado at SS, and the oh so hot kid, Ty France, at 3B...not that hard to do, Mgr Green...yes, we lost to Atlanta in game one...boooooo....3-1, and only one of the 3 runs were earned...pooh...

Rod Rosenstein resigned recently, rearing his rapid departure from the grip of the Orange Ogre...oops...this is the dude who was casted as the Deputy ( ala Barney Fife) Attorney General of the entire United States of America...rumored to wear a hidden mike in meetings with Donny...he vigorously denied the innuendo...Carnac the Magnificent, sees a book deal in the offing...and probably a subpoena from the House, and I'm NOT saying the White House...

Woodstock 50 is shelved...shoot, Crosby and Nash are feuding...that must be the reason...

The public station PBS, ran a haunting tale of the Korean War...what an absolute waste of mankind...it is a must see, kids...some have termed it 'the forgotten war'...for those people affected, hardly...and we (the USA) kept right on a churning into Vietnam to face the same dilemma...more waste of mankind...just so sad and an extreme blight in our history...
