This day belongs to the collegiate footballers...who is in the Final 4...and then the dominoes fall...for the naming of the bowl participants, throughout the land...some minor upsets yesterday, that will make the number 4 entry verrrrrryyyy interesting....

Georgia clobbering Auburn, brings 'Bama back into the conversation...and judging by the game, the Bulldogs are mighty good...and Ohio St beating Wisconsin...I dunno, I figured that to happen...and there you go...'Bama or Ohio St...as number 4, after Georgia, Oklahoma, and Clemson...
BREAKING!!! the 4th team is...drum roll please...Alabama!...told ya...the odds of them being out were astronomical...

I just read this dude who predicted where the other bowl eligible teams may go...he had SDSU to Hawaii...and the Ducks to the Cactus, in Arizona...we'll see...

Yes, I am keenly aware that the coach of UO (today), Willie Taggart, says he is staying in Eugene...but also see reports of him in Tallahassee...on his 'scouting' trip...right...we'll know by the end of today where he will be...

Scott Frost to Nebraska...done deal...and the next rumor is that the HC of Auburn is moving to Arkansas...is that a move up?...must be the $...BTW, isn't it amazing the amounts that these coaching blokes are getting!...and when they get the axe, the severance pay is mind boggling...

Haven't said much about the Oregon St hire...Jonathan Smith...he was the QB in one of their 'hey days...been an OC for a couple of teams...and returns...I like this...but, the real deal...and for all the NEW coaches...is...can they recruit?...as I found for myself...you can have good kids to coach, but talent wins...yup, they make you coach a whole lot better...

Has the bubble burst on the Tiger return?...dropped way back in the Bahamas T...not one of the players broke 70 yesterday...Woods had a 75...hope a solid 4th round today...BTW, SD's Chas Hoffman is in the lead...betcha Brandel Chamblee is smiling...not cuz of Chas, but of Tiger's play...

On our way back home from the Xmas Party...we hoofed it...and stopped at the Dunkin Donuts Store...first time...really...and get this...they had NO maple frosted anything!...isn't that blasphemy?...at a donut shop?...no maple?...what's wrong with this picture?...

Spirit Airlines...not sure if they fly into SD...yellow planes...they are said to be a growing franchise...I see the landings all day long...can't remember a yeller one...Southwest dominates here...

I'm a holding me breath on today's NFL games...not for any team in particular...but for my fantasy football blokes...need a win in the worst way....

As I close the blog for today, I am a staring at my Jim Beam bottle...dang, that housekeep must be a sipping away...who else could it be?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
