Morning, kids...early tee time...so this is one of them quickees...egads, and I have to wear a sweater out...what is going on?...somebody gots to do it...the news wire has this...that the gem of a baseball player from Japan, Shohei Ohtani, is taking his game to MLB...and one of the teams in the mix to get him?...the mighty Pads...what?...

Haven't talked about them much...the only thing that I have seen...lately...is that they gave their 'prized' GM Preller, a 3 year extension on his contract...the ownership likes him a lot more than I do...well, they have the $...OK, if he can bring Ohtani here, then, I will give him kudos...let's just say I would be REAL surprised...

The Marlins slugger, Giancarlo Stanton, is too rich for the newly owned Miami club...so, they are shopping him...the rumored suitors?...the usual suspects...Giants, Cardinals, and the Bums...don't see our name there, do ya?...right...

There was something magical about old time TV shows...50's -80's...maybe the innocence...or, the family atmosphere...I dunno...CBS did a 50 yr reunion of the Carol Lawrence Show...it had it's silliness, but...seemed so real...and the actors really appeared to like what they were doing...kinda sad to see it go...part of her crew...Tim Conway and Harvey Korman...I took son Cris to their show in Vegas, like 10+yrs ago...we laughed long and hard...
OOPSEY!...make that Carol BURNETT!...Horse flaw...

The Soccer Chargers are making a move up the ranks...well, at least in the odious west...6-6 and it gets you in the top spot...beat the Browns...who are, get this, 1-27, over the last 28 games they have played...has to be, and is, a record of futility...

Rickie Fowler came out of the pack...shot a 61! and won the T in the Bahamas...Tiger had a nice round of 68, I think...and there is promise on the horizon for him...good coming out party...is this the year that Rickie wins a major?...

This tax bill that passed the Senate...full of changes and innuendos...and if you can believe, one of the voters...parts of them, were actually HAND WRITTEN!...heck of a document, right?...maybe, just maybe, they are in too much of a hurry...

In the NBA, the Warriors and the Rockets appear to be on a collision course to the top spot in the west...Golden St is getting back to the free wheeling force they were last season...and Houston rocked the lake Show last eve...the horrific D that the brain trust put on Hardin, was, well, mindless...

I think we all who care, can breath a sigh of relief...looks like Coach Taggart is staying put in Eugene...as he will lead his Ducks to a bowl game in Vegas...against the MW's Boise St...you going?...and SDSU is gonna fly to Texas and play the entire cadets of the Army...sorry, but the Aztecs deserved a more prestigious bowl...pooh...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
