Terrifying

The land keeps on a burning!...it is an absolute nightmare...as the fires are a flame down here in SoCal...the largest one is in Ventura...that may be stretching all the way out to sea...the need?...for the Santa Ana Winds to die down...the kids have 6 people staying with them from the evacuated areas...you can just imagine how terrifying it is...

Of course, the fear down here...was that there would be one pop up...and it did...up around Fallbrook...massive flames and it wiped out a mobil home park...and then the worst news you could imagine...it veered towards Bonsall...where there is this race horse stable...San Luis Rey...where many of the fine animals live and practice their trade...like hundreds, even maybe a thousand...

Not enough time to get them all out to safety...so, they just let them run...free!...can you imagine?...those that they could get out, are stabled now at Del Mar...the numbers that didn't make it are sketchy...just another part of the effect of the fires...all so tragic...no words...

As some might say, 'stay in your lane'...the LaLa Lakers won a good one in Philly...as they hit a shot at the 0.8 mark to win it...good stuff...both teams are young and show promise...at least a year away from the next level...but...yup, there are baby steps being made...

I don't know if I have seen so much unrest in the world as I am witnessing right now...I mean, all over...some religious, some territorial, and some just angry to be angry...

These fires...there is an unbelievable amount of people fighting them...from the land, air, and now, from the sea...geez, wasn't just a month or so, that there was the fire in Napa?....if you don't believe that there is global warming...well, there is no hope for you...

Survivor...have you been following?...the gal got the boot...but, not before she made a most a historic Survivor bonehead move...gave part of her 'saving necklace' to another...and he threw it in the, wait for it, fire...gosh, that word again...

You know, maybe living in the places that have a change of seasons is a good thing...after all...not sure one says that after 30 straight days of rain...oh well, there is no perfect place...

Headlines about anti-USA sentiment...due to the naming of Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel...those who are demonstrating...were doing so prior, too...yup...

Padres news...let's see..optimism...as there are hints that we are going after 1B Eric Hosmer...bonafide stud...and that we are in the hunt for the Japanese star, Ohtani...make these moves, and I just might give GM Preller a pass...ha ha...long shot, for both...we are, what most MLB people would say, bottom feeders...

Have heard nothing about the latest move on the new Duck coach...how about you?...

Hmmm....down here in the Q...absolutely clear...no clouds...no smoke...you'd never know...and on an upwards trend to the high 70*'s...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
