Navy vs Army

Not sure if there is a better rivalry game in the sport...the Army/Navy game...er, Navy/Army game...whatever...the pomp and circumstance is wonderful...held in Philly...and today, they just may get some snow to play their match...usually, the outcome is nothing more than bragging rights...and is that bad?...nope, it's a spectacle all by itself...count me in as one who lurves it all...

The Marlin's Stanton is soon to be a ...wait for it...a Yankee!...oh my, and then you have the most powerful lineup in the game...in a tiny little park...who knows how many dingers he is gonna hit...it is said, that there is a luxury tax on the teams that overspend...something about parity...nope, not in MLB...spend whatever you got...'it's good for the game'...

The Pads bid for the Japanese star kid...Ohtani...fell short...duh...as he signed with the Angels of Anaheim...hmmm, did not see that coming...hey, SD is a bottom feeder...just wait for the names we sign on...unless you are a baseball junkie, you won't recognize 'em...but we do pay a lot for our GM...go figure...exactly, why?...

The Ducks signed on their O line coach as the new Boss...Cristobal...talked to my source up north and he thinks it is a good hire...the present day players there think so, too...petitioned to get him the job...that, is way cool...let's see how it works out...

This iPhone X is quite the smarty...it's all I heard it to be...and lightning quick, too...thus far, no complaints...in fact, am real happy with it...

Thanks to all who have inquired about us and the FIRES!...you'd never know they were a burning where we are...no smoke...but...the winds have died down a bit...and the firefighters have a better chance at quelling them...the devastation is beyond comprehension...

Some terrific NBA games yesterday...c'mon, not JUST because the Cavs lost...their streak at 13 busted by the Pacers...hmmm, Vegas had this one...very strange...the Warriors won all 6 of their road games...even without the injured Curry...and, somehow, the Spurs beat the Celts...they, too, without their star, former SDSU Leonard...all 3 of these came down to last minute heroics...

Imagine the tensions in this soccer game...Japan beat North Korea 1-nil...in Tokyo...hey, in case you haven't been following...the Japanese have been fortifying their air force...BIG TIME...purchasing bigger, faster, and more lethal jets...just in case they are needed...NOBODY is talking about this...

The Horse has a tee time this morning...going to change up my putter...yup, that's it...now, I'm gonna be a good golfer...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
