The Fires

The reality is...we have global warming...no greater example than down here in SoCal...with the lack of rain, we have way too many areas of dry, brittle conditions...and...this is also the season of the Santa Ana winds...couple that together and get a spark...and the land burns!...with everything on it...imagine...

Such is the fate of the FIRES burning right now...the two that are closest to homesites...are the Ventura one and the Bel Air...for us personally, the Ventura fire keeps us on edge...as that area is just south of where the kids live in Santa Barbara...there is one road in and one road out...on the Highway 101...where the flames have actually leaped OVER the highway...imagine, fires on both sides of the roadway...

So many people affected...and the animals and all...just a tragedy...that we all must step back and hope...and pray that it burns itself out...problem is...there is more of a forecast of the high winds...

It's the scare we have down here, too...low water levels...rain is needed badly...a caution alert was on the pixels yesterday afternoon...a fire in Mexico, just south of the border...listen, this is the time of being very aware of your whereabouts...

I have said this many, many times...there is no perfect place to live...

Other...

I know I should let this go...but Willie Taggart...the bolted former coach of the UO Ducks and now the present boss of the FSU Seminoles...carried his facade to the east coast...seen smiling and doing the tomahawk chop...can't remember the last time, I have wished bad luck on a dude, like I am wishing on him...all time ahole...OK, enough Horse...

The Balls...gone to yet another level...the dad is now banned from doing interviews from the Laker floor...he would do so, after the completion of the LaLa's game...and YOU know it wasn't complimentary of the situation...he also pulled another of his kids from UCLA...it's a drama that NO one wants...wonder how close the Laker brass is to either trading away their present Ball....or just dropping him?...who wants that around?...

The Cavs are at 13 straight wins...yes...they are playing well...especially the King...who is in his finest season as a pro...the cream as it is...them, the Celts, the Warriors, and the Rockets...any surprises here?...nope...

Yup, we ended up at the Apple Store...short story is that we needed to get a new keyboard for one of our iMacs...kind of cool, cuz they are now without batteries...OK done...but I also received me iPhone X...and wanted to get a case and shield for the front of it...imagine this, they were OUT of the shields...what?...at an Apple Store!...went out the front door and got taken care of at a kiosk...ha ha...

The phone itself is dynamite...so quick and easy to use...the screen pops and so much of the stuff is facial recognition to get into apps...all 5 stars thus far...now, I have to wipe out my info on the 7 and send it back for $...luckily, I have a mentor in CWeeks...who, is guiding me thru the process...

Prez T announced that the capitol of Israel is now Jerusalem...not Tel Aviv...hmmm, is that his prerogative?...I guess so...that the US is going to build a new embassy there...call it the Trump Tower...wait, that would be inappropriate...

Well Mohamed Hadid is upset about it...who?...well now...he is the bloke on the Housewives of Beverly Hills...I think...he has the two daughters that are models...OK, now you know who I'm talking about...he is Palestinian...and appears to be very well off...whatever that means or signifies...and that is my smut news for the day...

And now...us Padres want to sign the newest potential star out of there...Japan...Ohtani...for the betterment of the team...I dunno, it appears to be all smoke and mirrors...the lottery is said to be, that we are in the final 4...I thinketh, he will go to the Mariners...you know...the only person we have signed in the off season?...is our GM Preller...NOT a good sign...literally...

Here at the home...we have a group that goes about caroling...traveling vagabonds...that go to the other homes in the area...er, high rises...and unleash the good tidings of the season upon the unsuspecting recipients...share some bread and tea...and off they go to another...like 5 or 6 sites...hmmm, they have never asked the golden voice of the Horse to be a part of it...hee haw...

This from the unbelievable, but true files...our ambassador to North Korea, Dennis Rodman, says that the foo leader, Kim Jong Un, doesn't want war...there you go...rest assured to all of the United States of America...you have the word of the worm...

Seriously now...who are the Ducks going to hire as their new coach?...I've heard plenty of names bantered about...try this one on for size...Jon Gruden...now HE'D make an impact immediately...c'mon Phil, work your magic...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
