The country takes a break this weekend...and watches the gala event of the year...the Super Bowl...are there more parties for this than any other?...ie, New Years, Halloween, Mardi Gras, etc...maybe...the most bet on, I'd reckon...New England vs Atlanta...this year it's held in Houston, Texas...

You may get in one of them 10 by 10 grids...buy a square or two...the prices varies...usually pays off for the score at the end of each quarter...there are other things, too...sometimes for every score...a lot depends on how much each square costs...

Nachos, sliders, wings, etc...the normal fare (fair?)...plus plenty of the Budweiser...BTW, that company does make some great commercials...there are peops who bet on that, too...and, many watch them as much as the game itself...right?...

How many times have the former San Diego Chargers played in the Super Bowl...this the 51st time of the game?...once...yup...one time...bye bye Spanos...and the whatever you are riding out on...

You may be looking for the angle of the Horse...the betting angle...as I have said for years, never, ever bet on the NFL...but, if I did...I'd take the under...as Bellychick will take the wideouts OUT...the rumor is that the officiating crew is one that allows the DB's to bump...here's the thing...what will the Falcons do?...can they hit Tom Terrific with inside dudes in the 1 and 2 gaps?...if so, they win...and...the final total score will be less than 58 1/2 points...hmmm...but, really, I don't know nuttin'...is that a double negative?...

Back here in the States...the Waste Management Open (really!) starts up in Phoenix...this is where the goonies go crazy on the par 3...set up like an arena...remember the dudes I wrote about at the Farmer's?...they'll be there...figures...

I did see LeBron go last night...and yes, kids, he was the best in the biz...obviously, he is incensed by the Chas Barkley comments...and wanted to show the NBA what he is all about...dang, he can play...

Brent Mussberger retired as a broadcaster on Tuesday...OK...monumental?...naw...he was good...but...I have felt he was too 'me first' in the past few years...too much commentary...just broadcast the games...

Met some dude who sold cannibis (?) for a living last nite at one of our local watering holes...I know it's legal and all...but, I have to admit I had no idea what the heck he was talking about...types and stuff...I thought there was just one...

I call this odd...Prez T is living by himself in the WHITE HOUSE right now...the 1st lady is still in NYC...the pix of him boarding the chopper with Ivanka was weird...

National Signing Day...where the D1 football schools see who is going to theirs...if...you went by the top 50 that are designated by the scouting dudes...most of all those kids are going to the SEC...just to let you know what a great job the Pac 12 coaches do with less...apparently much less...

I can't imagine doing the bills other than online anymore...and...living in the condo, there are so fewer of them...bills...it's all in the makeup...all is included...the upkeep, the water, the garbage, the security, the parking...hmmm...it's not cheap...but, neither is that if you paid separately...right?...

There must be good money in golf balls...Costco is making their own...and sold them out...another newbie, the Vice...just came out....all compare themselves to the Titelist Pro V's...shoot, they all end up in the water...for moi...

So...yes...the Horse is going out to Sycuan to practice...'practice?'...to quote Allen Iverson, 'it's just practice!'...whoever AI is...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
