The Travel Ban

The US just woke up...and so did the world we live in...the newly elected Prez is doing what he said he'd do...make it tougher to get into the USA...The Travel Ban...that affects the 7 countries that were named by the former Prez O...that have had history of harboring terrorists...there is an instant reaction to his decree...I guess that is what one calls it...

Of course, the Hollywood peops are leading the revolt...witness the SAG Awards statements...no surprises...there are many others doing the same...however...have you read the order?...you know, kids, we have been monitoring who goes in and who goes out for some time now...just witness what we go thru at the airports...and, since 9/11 the CIA has been more vigilant...

Is this just yet another step in finding the bad peops?...like he said he'd do...and...for you up in arms...where was this passion 6 months ago when it would have made a huge difference in the voting?...rather than after the fact...did you not think that a politician would actually follow up the promises he made?...(or she?)...

There is more to the story...is there an equation to the anti-NRA blocking all gun sales, as it would just be the tip of the Americans losing all rights to the firing weapons?...do the protesting masses feel that they won't be able to travel anywhere?....

His idea is to protect all US people, including those that are condemning his actions...weird, huh...that he is taking rights away...and this...for 16 years, we have sort of being dealing with this issue...well, he has escalated it...time, maybe quickly, will tell...

 As you all know, I am an independent...I'm not taking a side here...just making another Horse observation...

Other...

Jon Rahm...the next big deal in the PGA...22 yr old dude out of Ariz St...was one of the possibles in the final round out at Torrey...the Farmer's...came out of the pack, with a birdie and an eagle on the final 2 holes...and got his first Pro V...that's a win and not the ball, ha ha...hey he's a Spaniard...is his country on the list?...

Which is an issue for some...there are athletes here...that are from one of the seven countries...is this going to affect their travel with their teams?...surely...they are here legally...right?...

PDX did a nearly....hosting the Golden St Warriors...were getting blown out early...came back and made it a game...and had an opp to win at the buzzer...at least, it wasn't Plumlee taking the shot...and...this...CJ McCollum is a better player than Lillard...call me crazy...oh by the way...the path to beating GS?...insuring one of the big 3 is sick and not playing...Curry was gone due to the tummy flu...a 'moral' victory...

Finally today...

I know this is such a touchy issue...the passion of the people...the traveling abroad...it's been tricky and at times terrifying...whenever my son and his wife travel about, I cringe...been like that for almost 2 decades...just keeping it real...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
