Monday Decaf

Good Monday morn to ya"ll...grab yourself a cup of coffee and let's talk for awhile...the sky is kind of blue...no rain for a few days...it's a tad bit chilly...all temporary...and...I think Marsh is on the mend...finally...I think it skipped me by...fingers crossed...so...we celebrate her day, maybe tomorrow?...

The NFL world got it's money's worth yesterday...as the Pack won a thriller in Arlington...give QB Aaron Rodgers 35 seconds...and he'll win it every time...that's what happened...you know how I feel about momentum...the Cowboys had it...and ruined my theory...but...shoot, Green Bay had it the last 2 months...not just in the 2nd half of that game...right?...

Did you happen to see the opening of the doors at that monstrosity of that stadium?...people running in and trying to secure standing room only areas...brought back horrendous memories of the day we were there...when the Ducks played THE Ohio St Buckeyes for the National Title a couple of years back...BTW, you know who was the diff in that OSU win?...none other than the now RB of the Dallas Cowboys...E Elliot...more bad memories...ha ha...to make it worse for the Dallas fans...they had to stay in the stadium...there was a tornado watch outside...

The other game was the Steelers and the Chiefs...in KC...time moved to accommodate the expected ice storm...did not materialize...Big Ben (Pitt) is an absolute stud...he still stands after soooo many injuries...and was the difference to me...but...the Chiefs scored at the end...almost...and went for two to tie...did so...but there was the flag...holding...shoot, you could call that on ANY play of the game...right?...if it smells, then...well, you know...

Today is the day that the country honors Martin Luther King...hey, it is deserved...and such a worthy man...he stood for his people, without using arms has a weapon...does that still happen?...you know, when we are talking minorities...we are, right?...how come there isn't a day to honor Crazy Horse?...or Sitting Bull?...oh well, we have the NFL team, the Redskins...stop it Horse...

The NBA does it own honoring of MLK...with a full slate of games...TODAY...the highlight of them all, is the rematch of the title series of last season...the Cleveland Cavs at the Golden St Warriors...tee time is 5 pm...yes, I'll be a watching...

I have spent a long time staying neutral...on the new Prez...actually defending the guy, I suppose...when the Demos have tried to rebel rouse their side...but...I got a bit edgy yesterday as he accused the CIA Director of possibly leaking memos to the press...what?...this scares me...our LEADER needs to keep this stuff behind the scenes...hmmm...talk directly to the guy...not put it out via the press, himself...right?...

Who is on the Beats today?...the best of Neil Young...maybe this why I am so cranky...have you ever seen him in concert?...well, he is anti...a supreme rocker...and a bit angry...

For all of us Bernie lovers...er, believers...this study out of USA Today...that in our earth, 8 people have the same wealth as the entire half of the rest of the poor people on the planet...what?...

I am mesmerized by this fix it show on the pixels...a couple out of Waco, Texas...that rehab homes into beautiful things...and, the cost is like in the low $200,000, if not less....what?...hey, that's the cost of the original house AND the rehab...maybe, just maybe, we should rehab ourselves there...
