Plaid

Morning, kids...whenever I wear my plaid shirt...it is a symbol of staying warm...used to be, I had a full closet of clothes...no longer...the condo life, makes one conserve...unless, you have deep pockets and can afford the higher floors...ha ha...my point?...I switched my background to PLAID to encourage warmth...as it is cold, rainy, and very windy here in SoCal...absurd weather pattern that has hit ...boooooo...

The Inauguration was indeed splendid...the pomp and circumstance was incredible...regardless who is sworn in as the Prez...to see all the living ex-Prez there...was beyond words...exception was the very ill senior Bush...when the country shows the change of it's highest office...it's a point in time that we should marvel at the way it continues on...

Now, the work begins...not without a number of people who feel that they should show their feelings about who the new Prez is...women's marches and all...fine...is this solidarity?...anyway, you KNOW my feelings on this...I wish there was a bigger statement by them prior to the voting...when it REALLY made a difference...I get their thoughts...but now?...

This, that and whatever...

Make no more of a statement as to the best in the NBA...the Golden St Warriors...as they whupped 3 of the potentials...all in the same week...the Cavs, the Thunder (Soopersonics) , and the Rockets...decidedly...when is the Spur game?...no doubt, Pop will choose to 'rest' his blokes when that one happens...anyway, it's worth the time to watch them guys play the game...the way it should be played...trust Horse...

One thing I despise about some home stadiums...the 'piped in' crowd noise...now THERE is something that the NFL should fine a team for...instead of, when you complain about inept officiating...or crooked...I mention this, as Atlanta has been accused of this...I know the K fam would object to this...if it ain't natural, then it is bad...ha ha...

Staying in the NFL...if there is an upset in New England...it will be because of the unique running style of Pitt's Le'veon Bell...he kind of dances and glides...until he finds a hole, and then shoots thru...to me, he is the best in the biz right now...and the Steelers control the ball and TIME...keep Brady and the Pat's O off the field...

'You're terminated'...them words by the Guv...Arnold...as he is the boss on the NBC staple..."The Celebrity Apprentice"...it's kind of good...B-...he axed the comedian last nite...one thing about this show...you get to know these blokes and dudettes a bit....maybe too much...Jon Lovitz...not who you'd like to hang with...ha ha...

You watching the PGA stop in the desert?...well, Prez O was on his way there, to relax...on his first vacay after his job...retiring like so many of us...but, the plane he was on...couldn't land there...diverted to LA...anyway, the T is showcasing the emergence of Lefty...he's back...and on his game...

Arse hole news...in other words, stuff about Spanos...ESPN.com is reporting that the league is infuriated with the bloke for moving the Chargers to LA...that the commissioner had even promised the owner, a host for the Super Bowl, if he'd get a stadium built in SD...that he wants, as do the other owners, the Bolts to return to San Diego...no one wants him in LaLa Land...what a ____...you fill in the blank...

Smut stuff...ha ha...could have started with the previous paragraph...anyway...Kristen Bell...pixel star...reportedly...allegedly...may have...wore 'butt pads' to the Golden Globes...what?...and the former Biebs gal, Selena Gomez...may be dating...reportedly...allegedly...is dating the Weekend...er, Week'nd...er, Weak End...I dunno...I'm not too good on these smut things...

As only Lovitz can say (Seinfeld appearance) "take that, Jack!"...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
