The Day After

Hope that all went well with your family...gatherings that is...and your Christmas was memorable...ours was, albeit that Leila is a bit on the sick side...no bueno...other than that, it was fun...went over to Imperial Beach and Coronado Isl for a jaunt....the weather is a tad bit cool...but sunny...stopped by our fav watering hole, Barleymash...for a quick lunch and beverage...BTW, it was slammed!...and then popped on home and made individual type pizzas...flat breads...design your own...if you haven't done this, I highly recommend...only takes 8 minutes to cook...it's all in the prep...so good...and then...ticked off the women folk, as we finished the nite watching some bad hoops...

In lieu of naming my top 10 best and worst things about 2015, I am going to follow Barbara Wah Wah's lead, and name my top 10 fundamentally, face de-breaking, anti-lip puffing, stories of the year...this comes out in the next week...make sure you check back to get that enormously creative and worthwhile issue...Horse is on his game for this one...

Not on the their game, was either of the LA teams last eve...basically mailed it in...as if neither one of them wanted to be playing basketball on Christmas nite...and it could be said, that they didn't...but, yup, we watched them try to play...and the Lake Show, down by 28 in the 3rd, almost closed the gap...against an awful 2nd team of the Clip Joint...lordy, lordy, lordy...

We listened to...the Warriors beat the Cavs...many think the top 2 teams in the league...maybe...as GS rolls on...28-1, I think...wooah...and the former coach of the Alameda group, Mark Jackson, now the "analyst" on the pixel broadcast...boastfully and maybe, with a slight chip on his shoulder...after being fired by the organization..."Curry (SETH) has ruined the game"...what?...he was referring to how well Curry shoots the 3...and now, the young kids all over the country shoot that, instead of learning the game from the inside out...ha ha...it is what it is, Mark...the coaches are the ones that change things...get a life...

So refreshing to have the pundits take a break from their own analysis of the upcoming elections...it's  a one day moratorium...and I'm sure it will be back on today...

Anyway, the time between Xmas and the New Year...is upon us...and yes, we are going to the Holiday Bowl...

A bunch of bowl games today...need a number of wins to get back into the hunt...and it's all about me....
