Glee a blaze

Would you break up the cast of Seinfeld?  Sure, it's a time laced show that this Glee ride is on...but, get serious, none of these kids are high school age anyway...it's a satire on the those times...and, who in their right mind, thought that Richie Cunningham and Fonzie were in school?  So, the producers have decided to shake up the show and graduate (fire) their 3 top singers...albeit 3 of the top 4...but Lea?  I fear he feels like he's got a magic wand and he can find suitable replacements...I think it's a huge mistake...rumors have it that she and Curt are going to move on to another one of his new projects...really, she should go on her own and start popping out some songs that show her abilities...I digress...leave the show alone...

Woe be the Padres...just a 1/2 inning away from beating the Giants at home...yup, leading 1-0 in the top of the ninth...and the closer, Heath Bell, gives up a homer and the game goes extra...then the Manager, Bud Black, stays with a reliever that has nothing...and they get beat...again...interesting, a statement that Bell said in the Trib today..."I think I had too good a time in Phoenix at the All-Star game"...in front of 32,000...really?  It sounded and looked like most of the crowd was SF fans...is this a trading day?

The debt ceiling...do you get this?  Now, it seems that we are going to raise it and the country goes on...what?  It is that the donkeys and elephants can't agree on anything...yet, they still get their raises and all...the Prez just said that we should go away from listening to the lobbyists ($)...how else would these crooks run this country?  There has to be a better way...

Watched True Grit last night...enjoyed it...Jeff Bridges and the girl were very good ...can see how she got a nod...I thought the original was turrible...

So Evil Dick came on and told the reason why he left...what?  I listened carefully and still have no clue...Big Brother...mindless...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
