Smelling Salts


With all the grandiose expectations of the new Friars in town...that euphoria has been put on hold...as the bats are silent...the pitching OK, but the wins are few and far between...it's just not happening...the success story so needed in the city (town?)...the faithful are here...witness sold out crowds at Petco...the pomp and circumstance has been bought...the hype is real, for the fans...it's time for the pressure to come our way...pressure of the W...what I fear is what so many professional teams do, fire the boss...this crazy game of beisbol, is a long process for the season...give them time...ah, just not too long...perhaps, some SMELLING SALTS might do the trick...

As I feared, Idol has been cut to 3...and one that should be in that group...did not get the fans vote...too bad, as she was extremely warranted...and per usual, the cowboy type is in the 3...almost every year...and usually wins...to give a clue as to whom votes often in this show...the Hawaiian kid is clearly the best of the lot...but, that person, does not always get the Idol...and Lordy, enuff of the Disney stuff...bad songs...

The NBA...down to 4...the Celts vs the Heat in the east...and the Nuggets vs the Lakers in the west...who ya got?...my early pix is the Celts and Nuggets...boo to the Lake Show...the 76ers were eliminated in 7 by Boston...and the word out, is that the current MVP Embiid, said this..."me and James, can't win it alone"...oh my...to be clear, James (the Beard) can't win it...when the ball gets to him, it sticks...and the whole O stops...boring...and Morant, that guy just doesn't get it...pictured with a gun...again...suspension looming...

Big news out of Turkey...as their presidential race is too close to call...and will need a runoff...I can hear trump now, "it is rigged!"...if he were in the battle...

Did you know a whale's brain can be up to 20 lbs?...the Horse thinks that too many humans have their's way about 2.2 grams...or, maybe lighter than that...especially the forevers...

Yea, so, whoever is in control...the bell bottoms are going to be in vogue this year...how about the Nehru shirts?...and the polyester suits?...why not?...do they breathe?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
