LOB

There is this stat in beisbol....you KNOW I am talking Friar's ball...called LOB...left on bases...stranded runners on the bases, while YOU are at bat...YOU strike out, er, make an out and none, make that NONE of the runners score...it is a very bad stat to own...well now, as the sad tale of Padres continues...losing to one of the worst teams in MLB...which makes the Padres...ah, worse than them, right?...anyhoo...we had two players that achieved this awful milestone...of futility...one bloke, CF Grisham...had 4 times to plate...struck about all 4...and LOB NINE runners!!!...and our 'star' RF Junior, stranded SEVEN!!!...LOB...think there might be a reason we lost?...well, you know what the Friars do...which, unfortunately happens almost every season...they fire the hitting coach...we have had 15 since I have been living down here in SoCal...well, we have...sorry, Boss...

The debt ceiling crisis...all signs to point to some sort of closure...and the stock market is sensing that...and was up yesterday, and opened UP this morning...see, I can figure out the market...now I can adjust my cash flow, like a pro...uh, yea...
