A Real Tribute




You kids know what one of the great mistakes that people make...honor those so deserving, while they are ALIVE!...not after they have passed on...such is the case of the incomparable Barbara Walters...ABC ran a terrific show about her last eve...her life, her start, her path, her remarkable run of a woman thru a man's world of broadcasting, her setting the stage for all women to follow, her interviews, and finally, her ensemble of women for 'The View'...

Nothing compared to her interviews...how she studied the person, or persons, so much in depth, that she was PREPARED...in as much, as she would surprise the guest...just a few, that stood out...Nixon, Castro, trump, Oprah, Monica, and the list goes on and on...they were THE SHOW of the time...I watched many of them...not knowing how well she was doing it...now, I marvel at what she did...and leaving us all, with the women of 'The View'...yes, I watch that, too...opinionated?...dang right...they should be...her spirit lives on...

You still want some more bowl games?...almost seems overkill after the semi-finals, right?...the Cotton, the Rose and whatever...will take most of today to play 'em...goofy timing, if you ask the Horse...

Did you see that the Lady Beavs beat ranked UCLA?...awesome win...Oregon college gals are dang good...more hoops by the ladies than the men, in my book....do I have a book?...

We've been having crazy weather...rain, wind, then sun...repeat...and today there is a respite...so the Horse is hitting the links...

My FF team...you are dying to know...am leading in the final game...my opponent, a 10 yr old, is down to one guy this eve...I think this is for 6th place, but I dunno...two of my guys didn't play cuz their team was already in the playoffs...wish they had told moi...

Rolling Stone mag put out their greatest singers of all time list...number 8 was Beyonce...based on what?...so many many more better than her...

Herbert and his Chargers are in the playoffs...Tom and his Bucs, are too...Aaron and his cheeseheads, too...cream rising...

Time for a wrap...let's get '23 off on a great start...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
