A good while back, I was expounding upon the fact that is this...in D-1 Football, that it is 'Bama and everyone else...as they thoroughly whupped last year's champ, the Clemson Tigers...to get back into the champ game...this time versus my bowl pick, Georgia...who narrowly beat Oklahoma in 2 OT's...BTW, a great game to watch...here's the Horse's take...

The final solution is for expansion in the playoff numbers...a team like UCF 'upset' Auburn...who has beaten two of the this year's final 4...and it was no fluke...Ohio St could beat any of the chosen ones...throw in the notion, that most of these bowl games are worthless, just ask the participants who opt out of them...however, I bet there are coaching contract incentives...get to a bowl, and they make more $...I digress...

Really, there needs to be 16 in the mix...how many are in D-3 playoffs?...right...yes, I am preaching to the choir...as 99% of the masses agree with me...but the colleges, who get the cash, disagree...don't get me going on the College and University Prezzes who hide their eyes and ears...education?...give me a break...

The news of the day...in all of my sources...Hoda Kotb...is the new anchor of  NBC's Today Show...well, one of them...replacing Matt Lauer...so, there you go...the women are taking over...hey, what's gonna happen in the 10 o'clock hour for the broadcast?...Kathy Lee and whom?...Regis?...how about Kris K...ha ha, wait...you never know...

Iran has it's struggles...their supreme leader said it was the 'enemies' of the country that are triggering the uprisings throughout their country...maybe so...but, it just may be their own people disgusted with the way they have to live...more to come...

The Bachelor started back up last night...hmmm...at least the telecast of it...as the bloke has already picked his mate...why don't they do these things live?...they need the time to adjust the production?...seems to me, that it would be way more fun...to have these telecasts, live from LaLa Land...Reality Steve would have to adjust his blog...he is usually right on...

Frigid weather throughout most of the US...as we get into the NFL playoffs...snow and ice...freezing rain...cold winds...reminds me of somewhere...the one I gots my eyes on...Tennessee at KC...go Titans!...

Say it isn't so...but the newly formed Taylor Swift Tour...already has it's doubters...33 shows...and to date...none are sold out...top reason?...the tix prices have skyrocketed...UP!...hmmm...we have not been to one of her shows...and YOU know we have attended well over 100 concerts...$500 a seat?...nah, not me...

New names of potential stores closing...Walgreens, the Gap, the Ascena Group (Ann Taylor, the Loft, and the Dress Barn) and get this...Payless...woah...stay tuned to all these...it is imminent...hey, maybe, just maybe the mom and pop stores of the past...will emerge...

A few months back, there was a squib about Carry Underwood falling and busting up her wrist...at her home...turns out that wasn't exactly the WHOLE story...she suffered cuts on her face, too...that required 40-50 stitches...she has released that she may not look the same...and of course, the people want to know what really happened...

The final tale of the day...the LaLa Lakers of the NBA...duh...had a closed door meeting of the players...airing their grievances...these NEVER work...and is an indicator of bad things to come...rumors out of the team office, is that a couple of the key dudes are on the trading block...Clarkson and Randle...hmmm, I'd throw in Ball and his daddy, too...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
