The final day at Augusta...no place in golf better...once a year, the coveted green jacket is won by a deserving bloke...it is the Super Bowl...it is the grand champ...for the Championship of the World!...ok, you get it...The Masters...

The field is bunched...Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia are leading...but...non-winners there...and moving into contention, is Jordan Spieth, already a champ...hanging on is the San Diegan, Chas Hoffman...lawdy, there are others sniffing around...so close...one of them will catch that crazy part of sport (and politics), MOMENTUM....and put on that jacket...the winner gets almost $2 million, to boot...wowser...oops, I failed to include Rickie Fowler...hey, he's a real possible...sorry, Puma...

NBA final places for da playoffs...PDX beat up the Jazz in the PNW...pretty much won a lock on the spot to meet...the Warriors...not sure if that is winning...anyway, Dame Lillard, went on a streak and scored the most that any Blazer ever has...59 points...good on him...I dunno, but that is just a weird team...

Kevin Durant returned to the action after almost a month off...a bit rusty, but got er going...as did GS...easily beating the Pelicans (NoLa)...awful name for them...who were playing without their 2 best dudes, the Brow and Boogie...yup, Curry was resting...even...it was too easy and blah blah blah...

Terrorist bombings in Egypt...at churches during Palm Sunday...the scum of the earth strike again...this is totally a waste of humanity...imagine the life they lead...eradicate these heathens...there has to be worse names for them...the death total is at 37...so sad...what can we, meaning the entire World, do?...there has to be a solution...

Why is the World on edge right now?...I could understand it so, when Hitler was in power...he wanted to take it all to himself...is there someone trying to that?...nope...

Omarosa...remember her on the Apprentice?...I saw her in the Cabinet Meetings...in the Oval Office...what?...really?...what's her job?...did the Senate OK it?...I thought she was fired...anyway, she got hitched in the last few days at the Trump Hotel...duh...wait, does that bloke know what he is doing?...there is someone for everyone...something like that...

Around here...the Pads beat the Giants...AGAIN!...2-1 and won the series...game 3 is this afternoon...beat MadBum...huge win...HUGE!...go figure...and the place (Petco) was sold out...listen, most of the patrons were SD fans...man, maybe we are on the right track after all...calm down, Horse...

We took a day trip out to an area just northeast of here...Poway...a site that many of the ballplayers buy when they are stationed with the Pads...geez, that sounds military...not...apparently terrific schools there...and the neighborhoods seem very nice...30 minutes away...as I hobbled about...I gots a bum left calf...which limits me movement...step drag...hate it...

Tonight we begin our concert season...out at Sycuan Casino...Peter Noone...know him?...is the lead sanger of Herman's Hermits...now, you do...a bunch of hits from the 60's...presently he hosts an XM session of the channel, the 60's...hey, he talks funny...anyway, is shall be fun...

Remember back in the American Idol days...when the winner was always the same type...a guy that played a guitar...they NEVER made it...but the runner-up, was more worthy...still bugs me that they never published the actual vote numbers....'believe us'...yea...in particular, Adam Lambert, should have won...and is successful...and how about Lauren Alaina?...sporting a number one hit...in the country scene...right now...oh well, it's an avenue to get noticed...

Alrighty then...I am into PROGNOSTICATIONS...so here is my 'educated' guess on the winner of the Masters...drum roll please...I fudge...Rose or Spieth...best I can do...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
