Monday Monday

We're finally in the month of the leaves changing...wait, we don't have that much down here...the weather dipping...down, er, back to the 70's...yes...that's it!...we finally opened up our windows and let the fresh air in....been like 3 months, kids...easily the hottest in 10 years...really?...we've been in SoCal that long?...hmmm...

No better play in the Ryder Cup was our boys...as they cruised to a much needed W...did you watch?...that 1st match was a beaut...and Patrick Reed beat Rory McIlroy...their 8th hole was legendary and set the stage for the day...Rory hit a 50+foot putt and went ballistic!...shouting whatever he could come up with...and then...Patrick hit one right on top of his, from 30+...it was epic, fun, and the shot that was needed...more story lines emerged...and the US continued to the finish line...victorious...BTW, the Euros were a class act in their loss...hint hint Lefty...

Abysmal...the closing of the Chargers game...totally in control...and left the ball on the ground twice in the last Q...at the Q...and found a way to lose...yet again...hey, that's nothing in comparison to my FF team...who, even though I fired the O coordinator, lost by 60 points...60!...these are professional football players...who choose not to perform for moi...is there a guy out there that I could hire to turn this around...some dude who used to be an OC?...

Could just be in Orygun...as the boo birds are circling the camp in Eugene...Helfrich, the now HC, is getting heat...so it is said...the D is still terrible...and now...the O has turned...as the worm turns...you see, when you have so much success, that when things don't go right...well, the Alums are demanding more of the program...or, at least as much as the dude before you...if...there is that word again...if...there is no change, there will be a change...salty...and to think I'll be up there in a month to see the product....

Real or a hoax?...KK was reportedly tied up and had a gun pointed at her, and plopped her into a bath tub...by a band of thieves, dressed as French (?) police...and stole $10 million bucks of jewelry from her pad in Paris...they left with the loot...she found a way to get loose...and bolted the country...hmmm...I saw her on DWTS...she can't move...and she broke free?...if something smells to you, it just may smell to me, too...BTW, who carries $10 million of jewels on a trip?...hmmm...

The "Preller Cup" is coming home to San Diego...as the mighty AAA Padres completed their 3 game loss sweep to the DBacks...so yes...solidified the last place finish in the west...congrats to the brass and Trader AJ on the miracle that you have given the local faithful...and, oh by the way, the 3rd pick in the draft next year...so dumbfounded were the Arizona boys, that they are about to fire their manager...what?...does this make sense to you?...

I saw this article on the ambivalence of some voters...well many...as there is sentiment out there...to "not vote"...well now...listen kids...that is not what your option should be...pick out the better of the two...for whatever reason you have...if not, the candy man or woman will be chosen by a select few...don't let that happen...voice your choice by YOUR vote...

Rumor has it...that my new (old) irons will arrive today...via UPS or USPS, or something...probably have to get new grips on 'em...Horse is excited!...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
