C'mon now, who's gonna watch the VP Debate?...surely, you jest...as I, for one, will not...not since Sarah was a candy woman...nope, not this time...I have the DWTS tape to catch up on...

I took my Super Focus glasses to the place I bought them...no help on fixing the bloody thing...but he did give me 50% off on a new pair...so, that was cool...Eyes on 5th...

Went to a party at a local bar/food place last eve...for our building...amazing that I know so few people...I think I am anti-social...

The kids are coming here for the weekend...pre-celebrate my birthday...and we are going to the SDSU/UNLV football game...tailgate with the Wainscots...out at the Q...we take the trolley...

MLB wild card games start today...the AAA Padres are not in any of them...duh...who cares?...naw, I do...who is playing?...

Think that the locals don't want the Chargers HC fired?...almost as much as the UO Alums want theirs...about equal I'd say...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
