Give me more money!...what?...Josh Smith, the NBA dude...signed with the Clip Joint...and is at his time in his basketball life, that he will be a backup...and part of the infamous 2nd unit...for a pretty good team...and signed for $6.9 million...and he has said that his family would have trouble living on that amount...what?...can you imagine?...

This is trade time in MLB...the cats who have a chance for the playoffs, want to get more...and the dogs who are just that, are willing to give up some blokes for the bloody prospects...always a losing prop...in other words, the rich get richer...see above...a name that is being brought up ALL THE TIME, is Phillie pitcher, and SD native, Cole Hamels...who just pitched a no hitter yesterday...against your team , the Cubbies...think his price just didn't go up?...

Pads news...before the garage sale starts here...the Brass has told the world...wait until we finish up our series with the Marlins...hmmm...we got last night's...and are 2-1 versus the Floridians...must mean that today's game is for all the marbles...and will dictate if we sell off or not...just a wild notion, but we are moving players regardless...

BTW, the SD announcer, Dick Enberg, won the Ford Frick Award in MLB...and was honored at Cooperstown...he really is a class act...and adds stability to our crew...congrats!...

Across the pond, the seniors are battling it out for their version of The Open...and don't look now, but the bloke who most USA fans are not fond of, Colin Montgomery, is leading...in fact, we love to boo him...boooooo...really, the guy who usually wins, is the German, the ever so slow, Bernhard Langer...hit the ball...

Del Mar...oh my...the P5 was for like $110 grand yesterday...are you kidding me?...and one of the Beat Writers for the Trib had the first 4 races...man...I got the form for today and starting studying last eve...if you go by the early races, it will be another huge payoff...iff...we are taking the train at noon...

Did you see the fire at the pool of the Cosmo?...like in Vegas...how in the world did that happen?...imagine the floors beneath...quite a sight...

The Donald is revving up for the debates...and is in his own world...says he now can attack other candy men...which means he must have met with the Repub leadership, and he bullied them into doing whatever he wants...he continues to lead in the polls...ripped on another bloke, Guv Walker...says his form of management is a disaster...and ripped into Wisconsin...yup, he's OUR man...wait, make that YOURS...

Our local pixel peops were interviewing patrons of movie theaters...because of the killing that have happened in 'em...do they feel safe?...many responses, but it's mostly...it won't happen here...just don't get why at the flix...I am baffled...no cops?...or security?...

A street guy was going off the other day just outside our condo...and was ranting and raving...menacing for sure...and I witnessed our young security guy dealing with it...stood his ground like 10 feet away...in a stare down...and got the foo to move on, without further incident...a border line one for the cops...and THAT'S why we live in this place...the 24 hour safety...I am mighty impressed and thankful...
