New Star

Hey, hey...morning kids...sometimes there is a new bright light that emerges out...and there is a dandy...Meghan Trainor...really...we go to a ton of concerts...well, a lot of 'em...and usually we have the same comment...I'd love to be their agent...and make their show much better than we just watched...well...not this girl...

Whoever has her, is doing it the right way...full of energy, uniqueness, fun...and catchy tunes...we saw her at the SD House of Blues...rather small...but, it was a sell out...and alive...really alive...you must catch the act...it's on the rise...

I can't make this up...the lead in band is one out of Australia....called...get this...Sheppard...what?...and their hit song is "Geronimo"...I'd be lying if I wasn't telling the truth...

Very sad news out of Blazer land...as ex Rip City member, Jerome Kersey, passed away...not much explanation as to how...other than he recently had a knee op...not sure if there is a connection...

OK...dang...

While we were waiting for the concert to commence, we were sipping a few in the bar...and the Duke/NC game was on...it was a beaut...and I see that the BD's won in OT...not much diff between the 2...it was at Duke, that prob was the diff...

My game is getting closer...82...I'm not much better than that...drove the ball...and my irons were very accurate (for me)...had another zero, too...I felt so good leaving the course...

Early polls...for the Prez...the Repubs are still in fact finding...actually saw a poll that Huckabee is leading....what?...and the Demos have Hillary in a landslide...that is, if she runs...like I stated...early...

We walked back from the concert...and living in a big city...there are certainly a bunch of weirdos roaming the streets...er, not only us...

Celeb Apprentice...lord, the final show was about 1 1/2 hrs too long...I've never seen a guy so full of himself, as the Donald...and he wants to be your Prez...

Baseball starts today...what?...I can hardly wait to see the product in action...Pads...they keep calling me to sell us season tix...we pick and choose...so much cheaper...besides, all games are on the pixels...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
