Duck Dynasty

OK, calm down, I'm just a playing on the ridiculous name of the turrible series...however, I did have mighty negative thoughts during the conclusion of the 1st half of the Ducks/Spartan game...didn't you?...the old thinger, momentum, had switched to MSU...and they looked like they were on their way to a big W...which many of the east coast pundits had predicted...

But...BOOM!...out came Mariota and the revived quack attack...and an adjusted defense that did not even have a bit of resemblance to that which was laying over in the 2nd quarter...and, according to in attendance Snooki, the loudest it's ever been at Autzen...went from behind at half to a 19 point victor...and, ahem, covered the spread...thanks to an offside penalty in the last minute...but who's paying any attention to the line?...naw...

Let me be perfectly clear...Mich St is a good football team...and in a more controlled environment, they will be fine...they hit...hard...and have a decent O...and after the bashing the Big Ten took for their efforts yesterday...by those same east coast pundits...will emerge as the best in that conference...bank on that...

Game number 2...SDSU at North Carolina...like CH told you yesterday...I figured they'd be in the mix, despite the double digit dog...and should...get this...SHOULD...have won...but the QB from the Aztecs is not very good...and has some very bad judgment...but much of his issue, had to do with the awful game clock management of the coaches...as they marched up the field to the 4 yd line...did not take any time outs...and wasted 54 seconds...and then threw out of desperation for one of his many (3) picks...and in the Trib, the coach laid it on him...screw that guy...I always TOOK THE BLAME!...

Game number 3...eegads...the Beavs lambasted the Rainbows...not even a trace of the group that battled the Dawgs so well the prior week...and the ref crew was from the Pac 12...and were awful...not that it would have changed anything...but Hawaii got screwed....did I say that right?...mild mannered coach, the legendary offensive coordinator, Norm Chow, had to be restrained at half time...been there, done that...ha ha...anyway, it was a good trip for OSU...let's see, Beavs, your 1st two games were against Port St and Hawaii...hmmm...

Other stuff...

USC beat Stanford...at Palo Alto...13-10...slow motion...both teams are below their best...so says me...but...the issue was what happened during the game...as the new coach from the Trojans beckoned his AD down from the USC suite to help him with the refs...what?...Pat Haden...here's my beef...this is a gross act by the caller and he whom he called..."daddy, can you come help me?"...it's pure BS...and the AD is one of the chosen few to pick the top 4 for the D-1 Playoffs....he did come down and did confront the stripes...and should be immediately fired from both his positions...as AD and as a member of the pick committee....at least he should resign the latter....a sham and a shame...Around the Horn, are you fired up about this?...

Think MY choice for the Ryder Cup isn't a good one?...how is that Billy Horschel doing?...up by 3 in the BMW...and looking like a great choice that Coach Tom did not pick...more debacle I say...two of his guys QUIT!...Lefty and Keegan...good luck, Tommy...

The Pads...you don't have to look much to see what a mess that team is in...as they lose another in Colorado...and have destroyed one of the better pitchers they had going...Hahn...they figured on shutting him down...and yet...brought him back up for the end of the year...and now use him as a reliever...and it's not his thing...more crap from the manager or management...who knows which...a change is needed...thank goodness for football...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
