Breakfast plus booze plus football...ah yes, the life...as we met up with other owners of the fantasy football league I'm in...this time at East Village Tavern...not the shortest walk...but...the place was packed with others...in their NFL gear...and their passion...talk about noise...had to be 20 TV screens, with all the games going at once...and cheers would erupt from nowhere...turn your head to figure what happened...

It's been Florida type muggy around here...our first of this in 8 years...has it been that long?... rumors of tstorms later on today...the Bolts are in Arizona...where they ARE getting that type of weather...is it domed?...I think so...

My FF team had a huge start and am going to have a decent season...I think...

Some NFL thoughts...
The Cowboys are going to be awful and will finally let their coach go...
Norv's team (Minnesota) actually won and scored more than 14...
No Johnny Football in game one for Cleve...give them 4 games...
Chip's Eagles mimicked the Ducks...big 2nd half...
NE lost at Miami...what?...
Wait, the Rams could be the worst team...
Atlanta and Buffalo in big upsets...

The Beavs only won 38-30...at Hawaii...really?...I went to bed when they were up like 30+ to 7...the Ducks moved up in the AP poll to number 2...the Aztecs coach defended his game ending debacle...he has 2 weeks to prepare for the Beavs...not a good thing...and as you can guess, I'm NOT a fan...BYU thumped Texas in the Lone Star St...hmmm, something brewing there?...wait, they can't have suds...

Billy Horschel won the BMW...right on Tommy...Selena won the US Open...yet again...another NBA owner is getting out due to racial crap, the Hawks....you ever heard of David Lipsky?...won in golf in Europe...more misery for the Pads...got shut out (again), by the lowly Rockies...and are prohibitive dogs today in LA...they face Kershaw...ha ha...
