Valhalla

The PGA Championship...in Kentucky...Valhalla GC...back in one of my schools that I taught at...were the Vikings...and I put up a board for highlights of our kids...called it Valhalla...kind of cool...anyway...

Who is the fav?...got to think it's Rory...duh...starts up Thursday...and one thing of course to look at...what's the weather?...this area, this time of the year, can be a huge factor...

The final major of the year...albeit, it's a Ryder Cup one...which means this doesn't end here...

Horrible news out of Afghanistan...another attack on the UN troops...and...one of our 2 Star Generals was killed...get the heck out of that area...

Other stuff...

Whatever happened to boxing?...it was THE sport when I was a youngster...even paid to watch the Ali/Liston thing at the local Armory...lasted about 2 minutes....man, I was ticked off...

The Pads have traveled to Minnnneeessssoooota....and are dogs...I dunno...we are playing pretty well...and Hahn is going for us...if I were in Vegas, I'd drop a C note...

Too bad that the Cowboys are playing the Bolts in a pre-season game here on Thursday...rather it be a real counter...am not a fan of their under-achieving QB Romo...and we are sneaky good...shhhh...

Papparazzi and drones...the latest fear of the "stars"...shoot, they let the paps know where and when they are going to be anywhere...must stay in the news...BUT...there has to be legislation against drones...

I am so ready for this heat to hit the road...too much of it...can't imagine living in Palm Springs during this type of weather...hard to walk...takes your breath away...

Have yet to get out to Del Mar...kind of easy to watch it on TVG...just not the same...will do it...maybe tomorrow...

SDSU has a good thing going...they are old school...but will be good, nonetheless...of course, I like the fast break game...much prefer the Duck's type...duh...

Remember my rant about the above us neighbors...it's been quelled...and they are so nice now...go figure...

Johhny Football is taking reps with the 1st team in Cleveland...hmmm...really?...he is tiny...maybe they are needy...

Don't look now, but the latest in speeding up golf...15 inch holes...have been in a T that had these...on all the par 5's...did speed up play...something seemed wrong about it...

On the tube tonight...the Country Stars of Music...a good relief...so says me...
